A mega complex in the middle of the urban city of Bellflower which has a BMX track and a paintball park, arcades and clean facilities. Two air ball fields and five rec ball fields with a two story staging area with and a pro shop.

The history of HSP should equal that of SC .... and the quality of the two should be the example for all others around the world!
I miss the days of playing with the Whackers and traveling from SD to HSP to play at night ...
The lack of love for this place, the lack of care / maintenance and no longer tournament in the back and other amenities is making this place no longer ideal to be historic but more of forgettable ...

HSP is a great place to go. The fields are good and the people are great. The area is good because it is always pretty cool and fresh there. and the fields are close enough so you dont get burnt out walking miles at the end of the day. The only thing that gets me is the field paint. I have had private partys and walked various times and the paint just goes all over the place. I have only bought medium and the high end evil and both paints sucked. I have stopped going there because I have moved and SC Village is a couple of minute away from me.

Hollywood Sports ParkThis place is a good "Quick Fix" if you're really itching to get in some recreational play in. If you're looking for speedball, I do not recommend this place since the stadium is gone.

i started playing paintball at this field about 9 years ago. it was actually alright back then. now this place is garbage.
airball: the airball fields suck and the bunkers rarely get refilled, the turf the last time i went a few years ago was garbage, massive holes, bunched up in areas etc, just basic trash.
recball: this is actually decent, the fields are big and pretty interesting, lots of indoor and outdoors, choke points and avenues of approach for great little fire fights.
refs: mostly illegal immigrants and highschool kids that are high all the time. most of them are morons and know nothing about paintball, the customer service is garbage.
facilities: very very dirty, paint piles up everywhere, the lockers where ur supposed to put ur gear are about as old if not older than the park itself, its hard to find a locker with a working lock on it. i actually got my dm5 stolen in 2006 out of a locker here.
prices: last time i went it was 54 dollars for a ****ty box of paint, and its field paint only, proshop is constantly full of people buying paint, there is usually a line.
area: this place is in the heart of a pretty ****ty area, brings out alot of people who dont care about the sport nor the park that only make it a ****tier place to be, ive seen fist fights in the locker areas to some big black guy blasting his rental gun off the field at someone he had "beef" with lol.
overall this place sucks, i wouldnt suggest going here or bringing anyone here to play paintball, the only pro is that you can play paintball here. if youre in the area go to sc village owned by the same company...jungle island or camp pendleton to play. anywhere is better than here to be honest

Regardless of all the downsides of this place, I was able to make the most of the day and still have an awesome time, mainly due to an overwhelming amount of "those guys" who have little to no experience, and $1500 worth of gear.
