A mega complex in the middle of the urban city of Bellflower which has a BMX track and a paintball park, arcades and clean facilities. Two air ball fields and five rec ball fields with a two story staging area with and a pro shop.

Ever since I have started playing paintball in 01 I have enjoyed HSP. Its can be an expensive adventure for someone such as me who loves speedball but if you enjoy playing Rec it is an amazing place to go. They keep their fields really clean and keep it a safe environment to play in. Their fields Rec fields in my opinion are amazing and deserve 5 stars but again since I am a tourny player and in the past they have let the stadium turf get a bit rugged is why for the lower rating. I would recommend this field to all players and I will be back again.

Hollywood Sports ParkIve played here a few time back when the XPSL used to come here. They have a great staff but even better then that they have one of the best scenario fields out there. You cant go wrong playing here....

They have full or half masks same price.They havejumpsuits(jerseys)or vests.
They have airsoft and one time i think i shot one of the guys not knowing And yes the airsoft is at the same time but at different fields.There are rocks,cars,towers,and other props but you cannot climb on them or enter them.
Any way they are a great field to play at

The scenario fields are alright, but when there's to many players it gets flat out annoying
Some of the staff are nice and chill.. others are flat out jerks
-No outside paint- and the house paint there is expensive the crummy quality paint your getting
and its basically the only field in the area, other fields are far away

ok, maybe i just had a bad incident. I have only been here once and that was today. I took my buddy with me(his first time) I paid for his rental and everything, plus bought a case of paint (45 for 1,600 rounds) Ended up paying 130 for everything. i got my gun checked at 270 everything was cool. We played a few games and had fun. We get a random crono check. my first shot was 290 then 285, then 287. 5 other guys were shooting over 300. All of us are sent out. the reffs come up to me and pull my wrist band off and tell me im done for the day as if i turned up my gun. I told them that i never messing with it. and all they had to say is "we need to show people its wrong to shoot hot".
Basically when it comes down to it. Yeah they have a few fun fields. Yes they over charge on their field paint. Prices aren't that bad. But seriously this experience i had will make me never go back.
Thats just me though. Everyone else had a fun time, maybe i just had bad luck.

Hollywood is a great place for scenario but never for speedball. they have a good alternate to speedball which is hyperball. they currently have 1 field and its the best 1 ive ever played on. what sucks is that you have to buy their crappy paintballs for like $45 and pay $25 entrance on weekends. i suggest you go to a local paintball store called time to paintball and purchase a coupon for 7 dollars. that coupon gives you a free entrance, rental marker, hopper and tank. otherwise be ready to spend over $45 just for that. they also have lockers which are a great Pro! i would take a date here forsure cause its clean and really safe!

The only good thing I can say about the staff here is they are friendly just like most of the players. However, the fields are always in terrible condition. In-fact im just gona list all the a few of the bad things I noticed.
mind you... I DO UNDERSTAND things can pretty bad but they Opted for no solution to these simple fixes last time I went (this past monday)
speedball:
only one field open! park has 3 fields
10-15 min games (way to long for only 2v2 matches)
about 8-10 groups waiting to play (so do the math on how long the wait was)
the field we got stuck on was FLOODED!
-you could only play up the mid half the snake was flooded and the
-carwash on the other side sprung not a leak but a lake of water!
-This was the only field they would let us play on! the other fields
were dry!
well in the time it took to wait for my speedball game to start i ran off to play some rec ball
...........
bad idea!
all i ever heard from the refs while playing is.... STOP BLIND FIRING STOP BLIND FIREING STOP IT STOP IT PLAYER YOUR SHOOTING ME STOP IT PLAYER STOP FIRING OVER THE MAZE YOUR HITTING ME STOP IT STOP IT IT HURTS IT HURTZ STOP FIRING OVER THE MAZE....
in other words... a bunch of kids that dont know what they are doing...the best part was when a player had to give the rules out because the ref said something along the lines of "umm what now?" when a player asked when we could separate in to bands and no bands
after that a few simple mistakes were made like en even teams... 60 - 25 lol we counted are lil 25 bandit team GO BLUE! xD we tried to hold our own that game....
i played alot of rec ball that day... more than usual
oh by the way after my first rec ball game i still had a 5 min wait for my speedball game

Also, if u dont like airsoft players, not a good place to go, HSP has airsoft and paintball on same days but different maps.
