This is my go-to field for Arizona. Every time I play here the fields are great, and the staff are awesome. Many other reviewers are complaining about not having the fields set up, but you need to know that this is a field for more of a community of players. When you play here, it's generally expected (or at least nice) to help set-up, take-down, etc. The work you put into a day of play is incredibly rewarding, and the money is worth it to play at such an awesome place. They have 2 speedball fields, and 2 recball, with one being absolutely massive. Team sizes are usually about 7 for speedball and up to 30 for recball, though the place is fairly flexible and will sometimes allow players to ref their own games if they know you well enough. There is usually a food cart here, with awesome food, including hot dogs and Frito pies (try it, they're good). The only downside I can see with this place would be that there is very little around it. The field owner also owns a store, but the store is about a 25 minute drive away (APD). On-site, they can do smaller repairs like o-rings, but anything larger than that you'll have to go elsewhere for. Expect to pay $20, though the price differs if you pay for paint, on tournament days, etc. Overall, this place gets an A-

Fort Adobe Paintball ComplexNot the best... I would go for Splatter Ranch for rec-ball and anywhere else for speedball. Not the best place.

Fort Adobe Paintball ComplexThis is the best field in AZ, hands down.
It has two turf fields that either have USPL/NPPL or PSP format set up. It is usually the latter.

Recball field is HUGE and isn't just junk placed around randomly.
The amount of land they own is the largest I've ever heard of for a paintball field; 154 acres.
Not to mention it's run by the largest proshop in AZ (and even have heard they are the biggest in the southwest); Arizona Paintball Depot.

Turf, Clean and Shaded Staging Area, Awesome Staff
Cons:
Great staff, great fields, awesome time. I have played at this field since they opened and I tell you it gets better and better each year. It doesn't matter if you play rec or speed you will not be disappointed with what they have to offer. Did I mention it is easy to get to, another big plus for me at least.

Wow NEVER AGAIN. fort adobe is horrible. A group of about 7 of us went to adobe and never saw a buisness run so badly. The nets were laying on the ground at 9AM and the owner of the field just rolling up to the field trying to blame the weather of the previous night as the reason for the field not being set up 2 hours late...we still didnt play first game till 10ish... They love to play grab-*** here and favortism. The local teams there also though they were the KINGS OF THE FIELD saying who is playing and when, but had to wait a good 15-20 in between games inorder for the entire field to be blown up again and again and again...to pay $25 to play this place is a joke, when you can play Cowtown at 15 for speedball on real grass and a well ran buisness.
COWTOWN IS 10X BETTER THEN THIS DUMP. dont let the pictures fool you

My experience at the field was terrible. Showed up at 8:00am (opens at 7:00) the nets were not even up and not one bunker was blown up. Thought at least one field would be ready if not two. Very unorganized didnt play the first game until about 10:15. Bunkers would have to be air'd up every 15 minutes, by the time they air'd them up they were flat again. Very sluggish on getting games going, owner of the field cared more about letting his local team play then customers, never split teams up to be even. No waivers were signed and saw about 20+ people with there masks up all day. Brought my buddy who has never played before there he walked on the field with his mask off in the begining of the day, and about 15 people screamed at him, which is understandable. But those same 15 people had there masks off on the field multiple times all day. Field is just a lawsuit waiting to happen. Clapped out turf really slippery with cleats. I was so stoked to play there after looking at the picture gallery on the website and reading reviews, but was let down severly. Terrible shade using tarps that gave about a foot of shade. Will always drive the extra 15 minutes to cowtown.
