I played here a couple times and it was by far the best field in Illinois at the time. I really liked that it was BYOP, and a one-charge play all day on top of that. There were plenty of people there for open games so I was never really standing around, and all the refs and staff were really good. The only problem was that I literally got my foot stuck in the mud on one of the woodsball fields, which is cool...i'm not angry about it, but it's something to take in to consideration.

Badlandz is THE premier field in the Chicagoland area. They have helped shame the game of paintball and the owner Renick Miller is a living legend. This field is one of the few bring your own paint fields in the Chicago area and is by far the best one. They do sell paint there but unlike CPX don't rip you off. They are the home to the midwest's best paintball teams as well as the Chicago UWL event. They have everything that you are looking to play from walk on to team play, wooded areas, buildings, hyperpipe, and airball. Come to Badlandz, you will not regret it.

Badlandz is one of the premier fields out in the Chicagoland area. They offer some great competition when it comes to team practice. Depending on how the weather is, it can either be super dry or super muddy on the main field. Practice paint batches can be hit or miss, but usually it's decent.

Anyone who loves speedball and lives in the Chicagoland area has to go to Badlandz at least once. The levels of competition here are VERY high. The fields are great, and there are many of them. Woodsball and open games are also top notch here. The field is byop which is always a plus and the prices overall are very fair.
My complaint with Badlandz comes down to customer service. I've had multiple bad experiences with refs here who did little to nothing to stop overshooting and blatant cheating. Team stacking was another issue that came up from time to time and the refs would do nothing to stop it, or perpetuate it even further.
Overall when the refs are doing there job this field is spot on and well worth the money.

ive been going here for about 8 years now and i love it. out of all of the fields in the chicagoland area this is definitely where you go to find the best competition consistently and not only that, but a good spread of players from all different walks. go play open with some buddies and rentals, don some camo and sneak around in the bush, or go practice on sunday with your team.

They have a bunch of woods fields and the allow BYOP. The speedball bunkers could use a little help staying aired, but with the amount of players usually attending that can be done fairly quick. The paint was lower-brand than other fields, but every once in awhile there was a decent batch. Although, Shocks always there helping out and tossing around advice. I recommend this field for speedballers and woodsballers alike
