I've been playing paintball since 1999 when I started out as a ref for Paintball Adventures (now closed, RIP). Paintball USA as it was called back in the day quickly became our home field and have now returned under TXr Paintball. The owners are friendly and courteous and the ref staff is knowledgeable and experienced.
What I like best about this field is that there is something for everyone and they accommodate all styles of play. They have a balance between hyperball, speedball, and woodsball. So whatever you're into, you're bound to play it. And it forces you to experience new types of play.
The ballers at this field are friendly and helpful, and since most of us are both rec ballers and tournament players, we know when to tone it down and just have a great time.
I highly recommend this field to anyone and when you go, I'll most likely see you out there.

great place to play at. i love how it has a different variety of different game types, from hyperball to woodsball. This to me makes it the perfect place to take a first timer or person new to the sport out to play. They can find out which style they like best in one day of play instead of having to go to different fields. There is generally a good mix of expereinced and newer people there so there is someone for every experience level to play against and with. the staff is always friendly and helpful with anything you need.

I live 5 minutes from this field and I have been going for almost 5 years. The place is great and not the most expensive. It is family owned and everyone is nice and the fields are taken care of, only problem is most of the refs are just older than 16.

I have played at this field ever since it was Paintball USA. As of next year I will have been playing for 20 years. This is what paintball in Texas should be. I know there are some that think that FPO is just in it for the money but if you have checked their prices they are right in line with what you can buy is a shop or on-line.
Now I see there are those that feel that the time between games is too long. I am just fine with the time it give me enough time to refill pods and air up plus have a rest as I am not as young as I once was.
I have played most fields in the Houston and surrounding area and this is by far the best of them all. If you see the faces of people coming off the field they are smiling. They are having a good time and that is what is important.
The refs are not afraid to get hit if that is what it takes to make a call. You will see refs walk out in the middle of a firefight just to call a player out.
Now to the most important topic SAFETY.... This place has it in spades. Out of all the field I have played on this one has done the most to assure player and spectator safety. No drooping nets here.

Went here with some friends for a fun weekend away from the tournament scene. They have airball here and we played a little bit, but we came for the large rec ball fields. It was great and we huge teams with a ton of different experience levels. When you're hiding inside a fort you're all on pretty much the same page, lol. Had a great time and would recommend it to others, it was a good experience to get away from the tournament scene for a day.
