Absolutely the best indoor field around. The best for hosting local tournaments! You can't beat it. The place is ran by great people (Mike). The only thing I could possibly think of for critiquing is that every once in awhile it gets a little cold on the indoor field during a cold winter day, but the field has a complete indoor heating system. Once on, it is nice and comfortable to play. As far as customer service goes, the service is awesome. All of the help there is extremely polite. They are willing to help you if you have gun problems. If you go there a lot and become friends with the refs, you can get them to dial your gun in perfectly. Mike is a great guy running the place. He loves to see the sport grow and watch people have fun. As far as quality of fields go, they have an outdoor scenario field that is basically brand new. The field is very unique and is not just a bunch of trees like some fields. It is built more like a war zone for the people who like a scenario type of game play. They even have an indoor scenario field on certain days! They have inflatable tanks that move and castles. Its quite the experience. As far as a the rating for a fun experience goes. I don't honestly know how you couldn't have a good time. Its just a fun atmosphere. Value, its definitely worth the time and money to go there. It is very reasonable for what you get out of the experience. If you are thinking about playing for your first time, do it here. It will get you hooked!
And like I said earlier, the tournaments run here are absolutely amazing. Enter them. They are worth the drive and are a ton of fun!

I was at Plex few weeks ago.
Honestly, one of the worse experiences I had in a long time playing paintball. I deeply believe that you have to have more responsible adult ref on the field at all times.
They had 2 kids reffing on the side where the smallest game was 10 on 10. It was awesome at the begging and we all had fun. Just few minor mishaps like shooting from the deadbox into your own teammates head (my brother got shot twice), but those were kids who did the shooting and all it took was a little warning. But all that quickly changed. Two "regulars" showed up and started ruining the day for everyone. Constant overshooting and best of all: ref coaching. People were walking off the field all bruised up and in pain, what is definitely not cool. Half of my group literally picked up and left because of that.
Well, I personally don't care of some idiots running the field like 2 morons and destroying the day for everyone. I do not allow it on my field and I deeply believe it should not be allowed anywhere else either. It's not a tournament, it's open (rec) play. We're not there for the money, we are there to have fun, what was impossible that Saturday. When you are playing open play, that dummy up a little because you're ruining the day for everyone.
Best part of all (reason I stopped playing that day), I got shot. Not once, not twice, but 11 time IN MY RIB CAGE!! Bunker to bunker!! For a week, I couldn't lift my arm more than few inches away from my waist. Get the picture? I asked the guy what's the point in that and how many times does he have to shoot someone, he just laughed. Ref (who was standing right behind him) did nothing. I caught up with the guy afterward and asked him what was the point of that and he said that "his trigger just took off" and after I pointed out that it's called bouncing his response was that "it's open play so it doesn't matter!" Well, to make things worse, there was a ref standing right next to us and yet again nothing happened.
Don't get me wrong. I WILL go play down there again. I love the field. Mike, the owner, is a hell of a type a guy. Comes and helps out big time! Gotta love him. But, only thing that pissed me off was that his refs which were running the game, were a little too young and inexperienced to run the games by themselves and that is where problems are caused.
Honestly, Paintball Plex is one of the best facilities in Indiana, if not THE best and everyone should be clear on that one. My biggest coplaint of the day goes to inexperience of the ref staff, becuase someone who tells me "I got the authority" becuase I made a joke, and does not to anything when something like that happens is definately not ready to be running games by himself.
Again. Hat down to the facility just the staff needs to grow up. Literally.

I have played there when they first opened, after a few months, when it was too cold outside to play, and just before spring. I don't remember a time when I have yelled for a paint check with a ref standing no more than 5 feet away and he doesn't hear me? Really? The last time I went there and I'm thinking that it will be my last time. I was shot to-you-know-where and back. The ref's were just standing there and watching as players wiped played on with obvious hits and just let the regulars do what ever they wanted. I mean I understand that it's open play but earn your paycheck! I'm also wondering if they ever clean the field, there was puddles of paint and this was Sat morning. I am not impressed with this place and I'm waiting for it to become like chase. Closed.

My only complaint about this field is that the indoor is poorly lit, and bunkers seem to never be cleaned. Other than that, Plex is one of the best facilities in the midwest. It's outdoor is great, proshop ins gigantic, and the facility is very clean and well maintained.

Plex is a great place to play and mike is a really nice guy, the only thing that they could honestly improve upon is their paint and their lighting. Paint is defiantly a hit or miss, sometimes its so brittle that everyone their is constantly breaking paint, but the last time i went the paint shot great went through 4 cases no breaks but it was still pretty brittle.

The Paintball Plex is an awesome field for the tournament player! They have indoor and outdoor fields making it enjoyable to play year round here in Indiana. Mike runs multiple scheduled practices that go very smoothly and are a lot of fun. Pretty good competition to help you improve your game!
