This field has 2 air fields located at the old wheeler BMX track. Compressed air and CO2 is available. This field is a BYOP field. Field layout changes daily and the grass is easy to slide on.

Just got done playing at wheeler for my third time (7-17-11) and I've got to say I was not pleased at all..
To start off with, let me explain that this was an actual tournament, not just walk on, which makes my complaints below that much more egregious.
First, the fliers all said tournament paint only (which was draxus or anarchy, can't remember which) and pre paying customers got it for 50. So my whole team buys 3 cases each ahead of time. When we get there they ran out of the tournament paint, so ppl who didnt pay ahead of time had they're choice between Nelsplat, draxus or anarchy (which ever wasn't the tourny paint), and ultra evil. Needless to say we were pissed. Just 25 bucks more and we could've gotten some paint that actually broke.
Second, they fill every tank to 4000 psi, regardless of the tanks actual recomended psi. I had my carbon fiber 3000 filled before our first game and he handed it back to me a little over 4000. Definitly not a safe thing to be doing, especially with kids playing there.
And finally, and this was the big one for me, the refs had a major bias against every team that was from their competitors field. I actually watched a ref wipe a players hit, while pretending to check another part of his body. 1 for 1's all over the place except on the guy who got shot in the mask, ran when the ref came to check him, and came up clean at his next spot.
All in all, I would refuse to play there again save for the fact that they're the ONLY field on the island that does tournaments.
Oh yeah, and there is absolutely NO transparency in the scoring. No scoreboard, and they wouldn't even let you check your score during the day. The lady went and hid in a back room and did the scores where no one could see what she was doing. I can't say for sure, but I have a feeling a few teams got a few extra points...

Roland is a cool guy who sticks to himself but will talk story with anyone how comes ti him.
Over this is a great place to play. The grass is the best here in Hawaii. I rate this field at a 9.5 out of 10

Paintball Hawaii WheelerI went to this field 1/23 and 1/24 of 2010, had a wonderful time. All the bunkers were clean and well maintained, the grass was perfect (almost started wondering which golf course I had strayed onto)...

All the bunkers were clean and well maintained, the grass was perfect (almost started wondering which golf course I had strayed onto) all the refs were friendly and helpful. Hpa was filled to @4000psi, it's a byop field, but the field paint was good, and not unreasonably priced.
Many thanks to Roland, Mike, Pancho, Rapture, Barry, (sorry to anyone I left out) and all those other people out there who made it an unforgetable experience. Thanks Paintball Hawaii, I will try to get back soon.

Paintball Hawaii WheelerI've palyed here and at the Kaneohe field, the only airball fields I would recommend. The staff are knowledable and friendly! Great place for beginers or experienced players!
