Camp Dakota is a fun place, not just the paintball. My first time there, we camped, and could have played multiple days if we wished. The game-play is varied, and suitable for new players. I found the field interesting and fun. It is not as close as some, but I highly recommend taking family & freinds to Camp Dakota to play paintball.

Pros: A great place for a full weekend of fun
Cons: Smaller fields
We went to Camp Dakota last summer and were HOOKED! Their paintball setup is a ton of fun for the family to get out and play together. We went in July and there were plenty of walk-ons in a wide variety of experience levels to keep games fun, interesting and engaging.

The fields are smallish, but are big enough for a group to move around through the woods/abandoned cars/bunkers. The staff & refs are amazing - personable, knowledgeable and friendly. They are as comfortable teaching new players how to get their markers to work as they are talking to more advanced players about gear & upgrades.

As a weekend getaway, we can't recommend Camp Dakota enough. We loved it so much that we've made it our new yearly family vacation spot.

Pros: Camping, paintball, RC cars & more
Cons: none that I can think of
A teammate told me of this place. I decided to venture out and I have to say, I had a surprisingly great time.

First, this place is a campsite that has a paintball field plus many other things to do their (zip lines, gold panning, RC tracks to name a few).

The staff was an absolute pleasure to deal with. They really push the family friendliness, and it was a great change from the norm.

The field itself is pretty simple. Matter of fact, I think this might be the only flaw (that there's only 1 field). Still fun to play on though.

My first time there, the people who ran it asked my teammate if we would mind taking on all the kids. We agreed, and did not expect it to be 20 on 3, lol. Being we play regularly and most people who come here are new to the game, it was great fun for both sides.

overall, I really enjoyed this place. This is a place I would bring young kids to to try out the sport and let them get a feel for the game. If they decide paintball isn't for them, their is still plenty to do for them here.
