I have to say out of all the fields i have played at, no field stands up to the caliber of genuine and awesome people that run that field!!!! I refuse to play at any other field and feel blessed to have such an amazing field so close to home. All i can say is that all other fields need to step up there game and try to get on Capital Edges Level.

Honestly the best field I've been to, ide say that I moved to sacramento just to play here. The entire staff is awesome. Deep is one of the most efficient and customer oriented head refs I've ever met. This place really gives you back every penny you spend and is willing to make anything you want happen. If you want more time on another field or need your gun repaired, they are always able to accommodate. They offer freebies for a few of the games and always do a great job with the birthday crowds. All the regulars embrace the growth of the sport and don't try to ruin it for new players. Definately a place to go for fun or advancement in ones paintball career. As they say, cap edge breeds champions

I have been playing paintball for 7 or 8 years now and Capital Edge (cepp) is the best field i have come across to date. They have some of the nicest staff available that are very knowledgeable and willing to help anybody, no questions asked. They are a family establishment with high standards in safety, so parents need not worry about their children.
Dave Bains runs the field so it is not rare to see alot of pro players out there which is nice for us divisional players, but they also have a fair amount of walk-ons every weekend that they split into beginner, intermediate, and advanced to make it fair for all skill levels. The turnaround for games is very quick because of the refs organization so customers get their money's worth rather than standing around waiting for pick-up games. They have 3 turf fields and 3 recball fields that are regularly maintained.
Capital Edge also has its own league that is offered to beginners and division 5 players that is run very well and is quite popular. For players looking to advance their skill level this is where you are going to find the best competition. http://http://www.thecepl.com/

I played here a few weekends in a row- which is saying something. I usually only go to a place for a week, and rotate out. But this place was fun, the staff was helpful, the fields were well maintained, and everything ran very smoothly.
Also, they have their own tournament league, the Capital Edge Paintball League (CEPL). Lots of fun and a lot of great people.

I came here when i first started playing paintball and my favorite 2 things were the staff and players positive friendly attitudes, and the fact that they separate game groups by skill level. i thought it was awesome that i could play against other 1st timers when i came out and that once i was good enough, move up to beginners then intermediates then advanced. everyone at the field is friendly and no one intentionally blasts you hella times. the reffing is good and all the players that i saw checked themselves when they felt a hit and got out if the ball broke. A++++ FIELD
