Pros: Interesting fields, good prices
Cons: Biased staff
I won't say that I was 100% pleased with my experience at PromiseLand paintball. I went to a "military and law enforcement appreciation day" with some friends, anybody in the military the whole group they are with gets free admission and rental. So all we had to do was pay for paint which was cool. I showed up, ready to play, and decked out with my jersey (for breathability only), camo trousers, vest and BT Delta Elite.

It started off great, played a few fun fields, was having a good time, when I was out in the staging area and I dropped a pod of paint and let out a loud expletive. I guess the nearby staff member heard t and came over and said "We don't allow that kind of language, so watch your mouth", in a rather rude fashion. Now mnd you, that wasn't covered at all during the briefing for the day, but I nodded and grinned and beared it.

It started to get worse, I was playing a field, shot up a kid in the shoulder, as i did a run by, only to turn around and see him wipe right in front of a ref, who did nothing. I was shot out shortly after, so I decided to jog on over to the ref, and ask him about it. He played dumb, but I think it's because the kid was young, so again not to worried.

A few more small incidents happened like this the other couple of times I've gone, so I am not entirely pleased. I go on the "Appreciation Days" but any other time, I would just take myself up to Apocalypse and save the cash to make it worth the drive.

Pros: Christain place so friendly, different games,
Cons: under "qualified" refs, no HPA,
Go with my church each year and it is a blast. Don't like the no HPA but that is because the cater to the beginner crowd and don't want "speedballer" ruining there day. The refs are there and seems like they think they know everything but don't go out and play elsewhere so they are around paintball 6 times a month for 5 months... not alot of experience if you ask me. but they seem to do a good job most of the time and it is a fun experience most of the time as well.

Pros: Fun, Beginner Friendly
Cons: Price of paint
Promised Land is the first place that I have ever played a scenario type paintball game. It encourages new players (as in first timers) to come as well as older experienced players. Its great fun for everyone. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have been playing there for about 5 years now and have nothing bad to say about this place and think everyone should play here.

Now people have made up rumors about this place such as: Can't use compressed air, no speedball guns, no jerseys, etc.

I can say that those statements are all false for I have used a speedball gun, compressed air, and wear a jersey everytime I go there. If there is ever a problem with a player using one of those things its because the get to cocky or out of control and cause problems and often cheat.

Now in conclusion I believe that Promised Land is one of the best places in the area to go play and just have a fun time.
