So I came all the way from NC to play at the "infamous" SC Village with a buddy. I wanted to see how the speedball scene is there compared to what I have back home.

Get to the field and have to wait in line to pay and all that stuff for 15 minutes or so. Finally get done with that and go to the speedball fields. One field was running points with teams which I was fine with so we went to play on the other field but it was just a team running "drills" (very badly I might add) and I asked the ref which field could we play some points on. He said either one yet no one wanted to let us jump on and play...

So we went to play some scenario games for a little. Well it turns out that it was a good thing we did, the paint I had bought (not from SC Village) was so bad my rotor wouldn't feed more than 3 balls at a time without jamming. So the whole time I am pulling the rip drive to feed paint into the gun. A couple of games later a ref comes over and asks what mode my gun is on and I tell him PSP. He tells me it has to be on semi and I show him that I have to constantly unjam my gun for it to shoot so I can't even ramp it. He gets pissy and demands next game I change it. At this point I have had enough and shoot paint at him across the field and again that doesn't even work because of the paint so I decide to shoot it into the ground. The paint was so damn hard it dug a hole into the ground and the paint wasn't even breaking

I would love to play here again and hopefully get a better experience next time.

I've been here like 5 times and most of em where for scenario. the last one was Speedball which wasent that Great compared to the type of fields ive seen in florida. yeah they do have turf and descent bunkers but its only 2 fields and alot of players. it is Bring your own paint (BYOP) which is really cool. i would recommend it for scenario and hyperball but if your a crazy speedball fanatic than think twice. i mean i dont wanna say its so bad cause i still prefer it way more then The Compound and way more than Hollywood cause hollywood straight Sucks!!! thats forsure!

This is also were alot of todays Pro players that live is SOCAL have cut there teeth with the sport. Nice Fields, with alot of parking, great prices. Go there if you haven't and keep going back.

Pros: Variety of Scenario Fields
Cons: Airball Fields Lack Maintenance
The Games on the Scenario sides are fun hands down, but the Airball side needs more maintenance on the bunkers, they are old and run down. Overall SC Village is fun no doubt, but it seems as if SC Village is leaning towards the Scenario players more than the Speedball/Airball players. The food is moderate, there's a truck that brings hotdogs and burgers. The staff is friendly, Haven't had any problems with the reffs. Sc Village needs to lower their prices to compete with other Paintball Parks, $35 entry and air on a typical day. On Holidays its usually $25 Entry and Air. It's BYOP so . Although they do sell paint which range from $30-60. My biggest compaint would be the lack of effort put into the Airball Fields. If you dont care much about Airball/Speedball, Go on down to SC Village and you'll have a blast.

This place looks great on the internet. But when you show up its just stuff going on everywhere. Which is good and bad. Its very confusing and harder then it should be.

They have a ton of cool looking fields but i have NO clue how to get on them and play. It seems if your not in a group with your own ref you cant get on there.

overall I am never going to go to a place that is that big. i prefer to play paintball and not sit and wait all day to play.

It took me 4 hours to fire a single ball at someone.

DON'T GO. give your business to the smaller fields in your area. unless of course you have a group of 10-20 people then i say this place would be pretty cool...but walk on players it sucks
