Cons: Expensive paint, no 4.5k air
I played here recently and was not impressed at all. They have no speedball course, they don't sell any gun more high end than an Axe, they sell GI 2 star for $65 a case which is crazy, they don't have 4500 PSI air. I had a Bob Long Onslaught that my friend was using and I didn't have an extra hopper and I asked if I could rent one of their rotors on their rental guns and they said no that wasn't an option and they had 30 of them just sitting there. So he played with an Onslaught and a gravity fed hopper With all the night play they do they need to invest in more lighting.

Orlando Paintball is like the Taco Bell of paintball fields. You know that craving you get at 2:00AM and nothing else is open? Then you remember Taco Bell is open and it fills that empty void, but by the time you're done, you regret ever going.

Most recently I was there on a Friday night at about 10pm with a buddy of mine, since we really wanted to play, they were open until 6AM. We got checked in, paid $11 for entry (own equipment) $10 for air (which they have to fill) and then $65 for a case of paint. So before I am even playing I'm $86 into this bad decision. Holy crap this place is expensive. They also charge you $50 for a BYOP membership.

I go to the car (which is down the street next to some dumpsters and right next to an active road) to get ready. I bring my gun into the shop to get some air and the first thing the guy behind the counter has to say about my setup is my hopper sucks, ugly, and huge. Real good way to make a good impression.

We walk out and are forced to join a group and play with them, doesn't matter that we just wanted to play speedball or anything, because if we wanted to play speedball we would have to wait for the group to play or play 1v1 and ref ourselves (probably better off to have done that).

Into this warehouse, we stand in what smells like chicken crap and looks like paint soaked saw dust. It was disgusting. The ref waits outside while we play, not calling people out or anything. His job is apparently to split groups up and start the game, then sit on Facebook or Twitter with his phone outside of the field.

Onto the next field, their tiny speedball field. It was poorly lit, only at two opposite corners of the field, with again the ref standing outside the field. We play a game. We are calling hit when we get out, but the ref is never paying attention, so we are getting torn up until another player yells hit for another player and the ref finally is conscious enough to know what's going on.

In all honesty, save your money and support another field. This place is for sucked

This place has so much potential if only it was better managed. It has no upkeep, its very dirty, and the ref's simply sit on the sideline and smoke cigarettes and dont do their jobs. People constantly cheat and overall is not a good paintball experience. They do have a variety of fields and scenario game types but the poor management and uncleanliness kills all the fun.

This field is great. Great pro-shop. Great staff. Great variations in field type and game types. Only thing i don't like is that many of the players there are very rude and will start trouble from off of the field (even if they aren't part of your game or party)

The only way to really make this field enjoyable is to go with a group large enough to have a field reserved. Which is only like $25 to do, so it is VERY affordable for the added fun you get not having to deal with the jerks.

Youve heard it all before, the staff and employees of Orlando have been "lackluster" to say the least, for years. I remember going to orlando paintball when I was younger and being afraid to even ask someone a question due to the attitude and and condecending manner in which every single employee carries themselves. I would reccomend Hypersportspark, but sadly it is closed now, So Paintball World is a much more friendly environment and quite frankly with better fields as well.

I've been here twice, will more than likely go again. Fun fields, staff is friendly, good place to go with a large group of friends and play some night ball.

What really kills me though, the price... This field is priced to rape tourists... You pay $70 for a case of $40 paint. Plus $20 for entry and air.

And the locals really get under my skin. I've been playing for over 8 years, and sometimes i like to wind down and play in a shirt and shorts with some friends and some drinks. The locals will judge you if you have your own equipment.
The first time i played there with some friends from work i was using my Axe and wearing my team jersey because i didnt want to ruin my only good hoodie, it was about 48 degrees out. And they immediately began to taunt me and flash their DM's in my face while telling me "So you think you are pro because you have a jersey huh, lets take it to the speed ball field", and i am really not one to brag or show off. They also have their gun's cranked out to over 20bps easily and mine being at 12bps semi, no point in ramping when playing with rental players. Also from my observation they obviously thrive on tourists with rentals looking at them like they are pros and getting compliments from rental players after they stack their own side and rape them to pieces, not to mention ive watched them wipe all night long of course..

Price, and locals are the downfall to this place. But i cannot deny it of its fun night play. My advice, go on payday, and bring your own paint. But beware, they will charge another 20 bucks for you bringing it.

Orlando Paintball was where my paintball life started out years ago. In some ways it has a soft spot in me, but after years of experiencing places all over the state with a higher quality of service, nicer fields, more competition, and less expensive at that it wouldn't be my first recommendation for other players in the area. Yes, they provide good scenario games for rec players and thats about all they offer above the rest of the fields around town.

Used to play here for shear convenience and I like playing at night occassionally. I stopped by recently to see if the same punks are hanging out. YUP, still there being snobby thinking they just rule the PB scene. These guys are cheaters everytime Ive seen them play or played with. Don't waste your time going to this rat hole , all you'll get is the OP wanna be pros cheating against paying customers. And if you are any good they'll be quick to talk a lot of trash and single you out on and off the field. Bunch of young punks. Professional Management is missing. Needless to say I spent my recession earned funds else where.

There are several other good fields and shops in central fl that don't price galge your wallet and cater to the more experienced players.

Pros: Variety never boring
Cons: Huge lines of people to wait through
I just recently got into paintball and this is THE best place around. I've been to several other local fields, and although they have decent setups, noone can match the variety that Orlando Paintball has. Sometimes it takes a while for someone to get to you, but that's because it gets so super busy, especially on the weekends. There's a reason there's always over 120 people there... this place is freakn awesome. I don't know what's up with some people and their reviews. Expensive? For me and like 5 of my friends, we spent like $200 and played for at least 3 or 4 hours. That's great value in my eyes.

I've looked at other reviews and it seems that people who give Orlando Paintball bad press, always have something bad to say about Orlando Paintball, but they NEVER post anything good about the other fields. They seem to be going out of their way just to throw mud on Orlando Paintball's name and they don't even bother posting good reviews for the other fields. Think about it guys

Anyway, this is DEFNITELY the best place for rental/recreational players to come for their first experience. A friend of mine is having a birthday party on the 17th of April, hope some of you can come out too!
