Cons: Mechanic, fields, paint, almost everything
OK I've been to this field a number of times with my friends. The fields are awful quality fields. NOT FUN at all! The paint is possibly the WORST paint I've ever used!! And the price of everything is not bad though ,but the mechanic is horrible. Never give that guy your gun if its not working! The only good pro about this place is the refs are extremely nice and friendly and perform their job well.Though this field i would never go back too as well. Dont waste your money and your time for this place.

Fields such as GTF are a way more fun place to play

Pros: None that I can find
Cons: All of it
I went to PA for the first and last time. First of all, this is just a wooded area marked off by yellow rope with some pallets not 5 or 6 different fields. It's basically like a fly by night operation. All the equipment was in a moving truck and the proshop was a guy lounging in a chair testing your equipment. The markers were beat up and they charge you for a pod holder, who does that. Everytime I had to get air, I would have to wait on someone to fill it up. I've only been to 2 other field and will continue to go those (Wayne's World of Paintball in Ocala, FL and GTF in Yulee). Please don't eat the food from the van that they have out there. The guy would take the gloves off with his bare hands and touch the money and then put the same gloves on. Save yourself the money and play in the woods with your firends, it's basically the same.

Pros: Number of fields and players
Cons: Sometimes muddy after it rains
Ive heard there is a new field they have sponsored by Tippman, but havent play there yet. Review for Woodsball field.
This was the first field i have ever been to in 2013. It did surprise me that their station was a box truck, but i did still have fun. Their variety of fields allows for different types of play, such as capturing a president, capture the flag, and defending the nest (the only games i played). Sometimes, they combined 2-3 fields if there are enough players at once.
Their service i pretty nice, one of the refs allowed me to use his G6R after he could not figure out why my marker was leaking. They are also big on safety. And helping players with any problems with there markers.

But, if it rains a day or two before, the fields will still be muddy. But i guess i should expect that when playing in the woods. I had to walk through a very muddy part of the field when i was hit, my shoe were sinking into the ground.
When i played there, their paint felt extra hard. I can take a paintball hit, but comparing it to another field, theres a difference i can feel. I got hit by a paintball through a thick bush i was behind (Main cover on the certain field). If i cant break it with two fingers, its hard.

I see no reviews since Brian opened his speedball and CQB fields over at the Pecan park flea market site, so I will try to touch on my/our experience at both.

After many years of bugging me to play paintball from my son, my wife and I relented 8 months ago (Feb 2014), so we first went to the woodsball field with guns purchased on the cheap from a sporting goods store. After 2 games both of our guns ceased to function (cheap=not shocking they failed). Brian (the owner) then proceeds to take the guns apart to see if he can effect repairs and in the mean time gives both of us mid-range speedball guns, hoppers, and tanks FOR NO CHARGE, and we had so much fun we ran through two cases of paint in the course of playing the entire day. Needless to say in spite of my previous mindset that paintball was for posers (I come from a firearms competition background) we and most importantly I was hooked.
We returned over the next 4 months probably 5-6 times with more quality equipment each visit and then decided to give the speedball field a shot. That is where we truly fell in love with the sport. The speed, the tactics, the need to step up your game or wear your failure tattooed in welts....

I will now try to review each location briefly...
First to cover aspects related to both fields; the refs work both field locations as needed and are all super friendly and very saftey conscious. They try to take care of everyone not just the regulars, and run games based on what the make-up of the players abilities and condition of the fields will allow for. The rental equipment; it is rental equipment afterall and as such there is going to be a couple dings, or the rotor that has a bad board or some such, but they always correct any problems and get you back to playing as quickly as possible. YOUR equipment; every day I see people having problems with their personal equipment and the staff always does its best to fix the issue (usually no charge BTW) and keep you in gratis rental gear (or the refs personal gear) until the item is fixed or day is done.
Paint; they carry good quality field paint from 1 star to 4 star and the prices are as reasonable or more so than other fields i've played.
"Other" equipment/gear; they have items like smoke grenades, paint grenades, squegees (sp?) , paint caddies ect. and some attire also, but they don't have a full service store as such for you to walk up and buy say the newest dye pants or fifty flavors of markers, but they can get it for you and usually at a greatly reduced price (i.e cost) I personally would not sell anything for less than a 10-20% mark-up, but they are not out to make money on gear, just get you in the gear that will allow you to play to your tastes.

The woodsball fields are fun and diverse IMO. there are 5-6 fields (IDK) that each call for certain tactics based on the scenario given, and often they will use two adjacent fields for one game.
The area is low laying though and after periods of rain, it does take a day or two to drain off making for some muddy play sometimes, but its rarely unbareable (and I don't love wet/mud at all).

The CQB field at pecan park is fun and well built if just a tad small. It has buildings, towers, and even a no kidding crashed small plane in the mix.

The speedball field is well kept (we have played a few speedball scrimages and tourneys in the south, and the field and equipment is better than the other fields we've gone to IMO) and the layout is usually set-up to whatever tournament is around the corner as soon as the layout is posted.
As with the woodsball field, the area is in low country and can be prone to stay wet for some time after rains, but it is what it is.

I admit, I am a fanboy of Brian, his crew, and his field and I consider myself loyal to a fault at times, but that loyalty must be bought and earned and PBA has done that in spades.

Eight months ago I was "meh" on paintball..... in two days we go to World-cup for the weekend... you could say i'm sold on the sport, and my good experience at PBA has a great deal to do with that.

Paintball Adventures Not the biggest place...not the smallest either. It's all woods ball, and a few different types of scenario games. Lots of people come out every weekend. But.... It's field paint only. Which I don't...

Not the biggest place...not the smallest either. It's all woods ball, and a few different types of scenario games. Lots of people come out every weekend. But....

It's field paint only. Which I don't mind, as long as I have options. There are no options. I can't even remember what paint they sold, but it was $50 a case, very similar to the crap white box paint you buy at other places. For a $25 all day field and air, you would think that they wouldn't need to rip you off on the paint. But you would be wrong.

Overall, it's a good experience for newer and younger players, if you have the money. Staff really is great, refs are great about safety and fair play, but I can't stand getting ripped off in the smallest ways.
