The field is great, but the first time I went, they forgot about my group and we were sitting at the waiting area for about an hour before one of us went up to them and asked when we're gonna be walked up (we can walk up alone since we know where the fields are now).
The only problem with this field is that it's about a half mile walk from waiting area to the first field in any which way.
They have deadman zones and compressed air stations in each larger dead zone.

Pros: Good fields (woodsball) Nice Refs
Cons: NO SPEED BALL!
First off, they have no Speed-Ball fields. They have 2 woods-ball fields that are small like speed ball but no actual speed ball fields. It is hard to get to. And there is A LOT of walking. (i am not lazy) There is a lot of walking to get to field to field. There are GREAT refs there. They are very helpful and nice. AMD VERY VERY CHEAP!! This is one of the cheapest fields I have ever played at. its only $60 for a case. Its FPO.

Pros: large amount of fields
Cons: expensive
let me just say that 60 dollars for 1 star paint (paint-only field) and 23 dollars for admission is a little high in my opinion... specially when we got horribly deformed paint that shot worse than it looked... its twice that this has happened and its because they keep the paint in uncontrolled temperature area... plus the temperature had changed from near freezing in the morning to mid fifties in the afternoon so the paint was horribly deformed... they also have 2 star for 70 dollars a case which shot fine but $70!!! Thats $163 dollars for a day with two cases and entry (15 entree +8 for air)... It'd be $110 for Skyline and $135 for pevs (both have turf fields) which are all in the same vicinity (and with good paint)... rentals at hogback are cheaper though specially the paint for rentals as compared to pevs... Skyline is still better even if its a little further...

Pros: Great fields, friendly service, really cool refs,
Cons: Can't bring your own paint, 60 for a box,
Ok I would like to start off saying this is a really fun field for beginner, woodsball players, and if you do speedball you they only have one airball course. I consider myself a decent player been playing for a few years and have been to many fields but this one will stand out as one of the great ones.

They have tons of fields and two walk on groups one beginner and one advanced which is nice for both sides to either not get destroyed by a bunch of pros or pros not get bored with beginners. I played with the advanced group and had a blast.

Ther only thing that bumbled me out was the cost of paint and some of the balls had dents in them and would break in my eteck which really annoyed me.

Over all I would come back.

Hogback Mountain Paintball A very fun place to go and if you like woodsball it is excellent. For my, however, airball is more fun/enjoyable.

If you're a new player it's a nice field but I defiantly would go somewhere else if you're experienced

Cons: Have to use field paint
Love this place. Staff is knowledgable and willing to help troubleshoot your guns with you. The refs are strict on safety as they should be. They divide the teams up fairly based on number of people and level of experience. The fields are great. My personal favorites are Castle and Fort. Wide range of players from Noobs to 10+ yr players. The only negative is that you have to buy field paint. Not so bad because they let you use paint from previous days as long as you bought it from them. And they're open on Wednesdays during the summer. Overall fun experience.

Cons: Hiking sucks
Overall better than Pevs for most players. They have excellent woodsball fields and a few nice speedball fields. They just built a hyperball field but I haven't gotten a chance to play it. Refs are pretty good, they will split the walkon group into beginner and advance when there are a lot of people. The only bad part is walking up the hill but at the end of the day it's worth it.
