So let's go through a typical day at The Church. Games usually start bright and early at either 7 or 8 depending on the time of the year. I don't mind the early hours because it allows people to play while the weather is still cool. The staff are very friendly and polite. They will do their best to ensure you have a fun time playing. Every day starts off with a thorough safety meeting which allows everyone both new and experienced to hear all of the field's rules. Refs do a great job in enforcing these rules as well.
The fields themselves are set up very well. With three big fields and plenty of refs, there is never any downtime at The Church.
Everyone at the field has a good time playing. Whether it's another pump vs semi game or the last game of the day, I always see lots of smiles and friendly faces at The Church.
I have only two small complaints. There is no airball field (yet) and the refs will not allow bunkering on any of the fields. There isn't even a surrender rule. It's not a deal-breaker for me but I imagine these rules are set in place for the younger players that come to the field. Don't let this fact scare some of you more experience players. There is still plenty of competition at the field.
Overall The Church is one of my favorite fields to play at. Every time I visit family in Arizona I play there and I will always recommend this field to anyone who asks.

The Church Field is a recball only field. It's very family and newb friendly and ran by volunteers. It's definitely worth checking out if you're just looking for a chill day of paintball or if you're trying to introduce someone new to the sport. Don't come expecting high competition and airball. There used to be an airball field, but no more, which is perfectly fine. $20 for field and air, they fill compressed air 3K.
