Pros: Inexpensive, fun, great people
Cons: Small fields, winter
The MTU paintball fields is a great place to play for anyone in the Keweenaw Peninsula. The students that operate the field do so in a safe, fun environment, while keeping the costs down for everyone, especially students. The facilities have on-site compressed air and Co2 fills, good paint, and both speedball and woodsball fields for players of all types.

The major drawbacks of the field are the relatively small sizes of the fields due to the wooded area and inability to expand on their loaned land. Because the field is student-operated and the harsh winters of the Keweenaw, the field is generally only open during the Fall semester.
