Action Park PaintballI've been playing at this field for years and here is what I can tell you about my experiences at Action Paintball Park, formerly No Limits Paintball Park.

I've been playing at this field for years and here is what I can tell you about my experiences at Action Paintball Park, formerly No Limits Paintball Park.
I will begin this review starting with the prices then moving into the fields. Followed by the 'pros' and 'cons' to give you a more detailed explanation of each.
Pricing:
Admission: $12.00 if you purchase at least 1/2 case from the field, or $25.00 if you BYOP.
Air: $5.00 all day HPA, $2.00 per Co2 fill. (Check site for Co2 pricing)
Paint: $40.00 and up.
Misc: Rental gear is available, check the website for prices.
Fields:
Anthrax Island - This is the most popular of the fields, when given an option to choose from the lineup, Anthrax is almost always chosen. This is an attack and defend game that seats one team outside and the other positioned on 'Anthrax Island'. A mote surrounds a fort-like structure that is accessible by two bridges, where bunkers are placed on adjacent sides to provide cover. The attacking team must gain access to the fort and physically touch a tower that is positioned within the stronghold to obtain victory.
Pros: Attacking side, multiple levels in fort, plenty of bunkers, fast paced, medium start distance, and choke points are some of the most notable on this field.
Cons: Defending side, easily pinned inside, lack of angles, bunkers outside of fort are death traps from attackers freedom of angles, and attacker oriented of the cons
Hyperball - Very typical Hyperball set up that consists of varied length and width pieces of corrugated plastic pipe.
Pros: Speedball oriented gameplay, fast, bunkers of all sizes, angles, and medium starting distance from opposing team.
Cons: Typically overpopulated, facilitates roughly 8v8+/-, and in some cases muddy (depending on weather prior to play)
Battleball - This field is composed primarily of large spindles with few other forms of bunkers. Similar set up as the Hyperball field, which sits next to it.
Pros: Nearly identical to the pros given to that of the Hyperball field. Accommodates for more people per bunker than the Hyperball field.
Cons: Also nearly identical to the Hyperball field, including the issue with overpopulation.
War in the Woods - A flat setting that is littered with random bunkers and overgrown grass that provides cover, I have not played this field much so I do not have much experience on this one. Pros and Cons would be typical of any field similar. The "Urban Assault" field would be similar on both sides without the specifics of the house structure or fencing.
The Swamp - (I've either sat this field out every visit to the field, never played it, or know it by a different name.)
Urban Assault - This field sits in overgrown grass and is composed of barrels, spindles, a building structure on one starting area, and sections of picket fence that somewhat surround the structure. The opposing side has a variety of bunkers along with overgrown grass to provide cover during movement.
Pros: Woodsball, good cover, longer starting points than some of the other fields, wide layout, house structure, and flank cover are some things this field offers.
Cons: Overgrowth, muddy after a rain, trouble depicting who is who from overgrown grass/brush.
Pavilion?(Field Name Unknown) - This field has a variety of bunkers but contains a large amount of, what appeared to be, pallets. One of the sides is constructed into an existing pavilion, using pallets to box the outer perimeter into a make shift fort. The opposing side starts out in the open.
Pros: Alternate playing field.
Cons: Tape line bunkers are limited and far apart, remains flooded, pavilion can act as a death trap, typically pinned from lack of ghosting bunkers, and too simple.
Hill?(Field Name Unknown) Field is positioned on a slight hill where one team starts at the top and opposing at the lower end of the slope. There are many bunkers and overgrown grass throughout the field. A mowed pathway(s) is/are defined down the field as lanes where those who brave the middle will travel. The perimeter of the field can also be played to allow a flank on either side. This field is also very popular among the lineup. Capture the flag is commonly played on this field.
Pros: Starting on top and holding sides, ease of movement at bottom, good cover, ability to 'longball' when starting from top, and using flanks from bottom are some of highlights of this field.
Cons: Dealing with the flank from the top, the 'longballing' from starters at top, overgrown grass, no true defined 'Out of Bounds' markers, and Capture the Flag play attribute to some of the negative aspects of this field.
Speedball/Airball - This field is not available for play. The bunkers are deflated and stored to avoid vandalism. The teams construct and break down this field after every use. This is loosely reserved for the practice of the fields home team.
Review (Continued)
Staff: I've had quite a bit of problems, in the past, with the referee's at this field. The total lack of professionalism displayed had almost been enough to deter me from returning to play. The demeanor, attitude, disrespect, and immaturity runs prevalent at the field through some of the referees on staff. This is not true for all of the staff, some are hard working and down right good guys.
Management: The management of the field, in my opinion, is responsible for the quality of their staff. Most of the issues that I have had with this field are directly related to the actions of the upper management and their failure to recognize or practice proper business ethics. The issues of under staffing is another problem, which is evident on days of a high player count. Overcrowded fields are quite common, which makes the playing experience less than desirable when fighting over bunkers. These are the responsibilities of the management of a field, when they fail to provide what is needed you cannot help but feel cheated out of a days play.
Player Base: There are many players that consider Action their "home field", which translates into many return customers. The solid player base almost always ensures that there will be plenty of players to play with. The skill ranges from the first time players to some of the best this state has to offer, a truly diverse group.
Overall: I would recommend anyone who reads this to not be discouraged by my review, but instead to visit the field and make your own assessment. I have had my share of bad experiences at this field but that does not mean that I have not had my share of good. Many of great sessions had been played at this field, with many of great people. Much work has gone into this field and should not be overlooked, many find this 'the perfect balance' between quality and budget and will continue to support the field. Make your own review of this field, don't just piggy back off of mine.
Thanks!
Caitiff

Action Park PaintballNot the largest park but still a great one. The field's are a blast to play and the staff keeps things going so everyone has a fun safe time.

Don't play variety of fields, couple courses unfai
I like this filed mainly because it is the closest one to me. I have not tried any-other field before, but I do like this one. The staff is very helpful, and can help fix your gun if something's wrong. The courses are extremely fun, but some of them are unfair. I can't remember the name, but it's the one with a castle. It is extremely hard to shoot the offensive team, and the bunkers outside are pathetic. That is the only problem I've had. I do recommend giving it a chance if you want something really different.

Action Park PaintballYou can have alot of fun at this park. The indoor could always be better but we only use that during rainy and snowy days. Outdoor is great and has the best Tire field ive ever played.
