Pros: Indoor
Cons: Disgruntled refs
Played here once after hearing a lot of hype about the place, and ended up spending a good amount of money on some basic paintball. Nothing special really. They split the field in to two mini fields and that as lame. Most of the staff is nice except for this one ref who clearly hates his job. Game after game he was extremely rude to paying customers.

He is the main reason I will not return again.

Pros: Its a franchise
Cons: All business.
Boston paintball is the largest paintball franchise in the Northeast.
They have two indoor locations, and one outdoor location.

The two indoor locations are pretty decent. The one in chelsea is really the only place to go to in the winter. The rest of the indoor areas in MA are rather poor. Their location in Ashland is rather small, bust still just as nice.

Chelsea:
Indoor balling is expensive. However, BP has a really nice indoor area that is close by a Chinese Buffet, MCDonalds, and Home Depot. (Just in case you need something!) This location has a very well stocked PB shop. (Although expensive.)

They have a MASSIVE field that they usually split into two fields. A speedball field, and a woods ball type field. They do pretty well to take care of the field.

Ashland:
The field is small. It's probably about the size of a 3-man field give or take.
The pro shop is pretty much the same if not a tad bit smaller than the one in Chelsea.

Unlike Chelsea, civilization is a bit further from this locale. In all honesty, this is the place to go if you live closely and want to get some quick balling in.

Maynard:
The outdoor field. It has 3 speedball fields, and two woods ball areas.
There is a small shop that has pods, orings, squeegees and various stuff for sale.

Woods- There is a two and a hilly woodland area. In comparison to other woods ball field, this area is lacking. The town is rather small and kinda cramped. The woodland hills is decent.

Speedball- They have 3 fields, but only one is used for recall. (The smallest field) The other two are really for tournaments and sometimes rotations.

The ref's do their job and do it well, but you can tell they're pretty worn.

The only thing that brings BP down, is the management. They handle issues pretty poorly, and focus on everyone else but one customer.

In my opinion, if other fields had an indoor location or were closer, I wouldn't think a second thought about leaving BP.

Boston Paintball Central Great place and good rotations but like any indoor location, the placement of support poles are kinda odd.

Great place - especially for indoor. Playing walk-on on Saturday with more than 6 people becomes problematic, however. Perfect for 5v5, though. The staging area was very clean and the staff was awesome.

The price is what kind of gets you. $85 for entry and paint isn't particularly bad, but it is a bit pricey. I know they have their reasons, but if its not too frigid there are outdoor options that are more cost effective.

However, for what they do for rentals and parties this field is awesome. I'm giving more of a tournament speedballer view here.

Rotations are a great deal, though!
