this place is bomb, brand new facility opened in december. clean, great turf, its like heaven. they now shoot evil paint as well which is a sweet upgrade, always using the best. got 4500 fills, and the speedball feeds are sick. great place to play period. always good people playing. nice location, got food and stuff nearby. price is a bit up there but for the quality i guess its considerable.

This review is coming from someone who had played for many years at the old boston paintball location in somerville. Let me tell you that was a heck of lot better. There I didn't mind paying more money for field paint, because I had a pretty good time when I went there. BP's new location in everett in my opinion doesn't compare to the somerville one. First the fields are pretty small, and when I was there yesterday the setup that they had was not good. Way too many bunkers on the field, and there were no lanes. Also, the old staff at the somerville location were awesome, and really chill they used to let you chrono your gun yourself, and trusted players, and the reffs were cool, not pissed off teenagers. At the Everett location I went to shoot some leftover paint in the chrono, so I'm shooting and these two reffs run in and start yelling at me saying wtf am I doing, telling me I couldn't shoot in the chrono and then yelling get out, get out now, and I'm like what going is on its a chrono booth you should be able to shoot paint and what not. At the old Boston paintball they had no problem with that unless they were giving an orientation then they would tell you to wait a second. Also when trying to make teams and stuff the reffs would get agitated and then just rush us onto the field.I tried to get a staff member to punch my ticket and he just walked by me and said he was too busy. To all the reffs at BP Everett, if you don't want to reff then don't, and if you are don't be a A hole when your working. If anyone is looking to play at BP Everett I probably wouldn't, I would wait till the outdoor field in Maynard opens and play their cuz its way better. If anyone is going to BP for the first time, I wish you had been able to experience the old one first. To the old staff from the BP in Somerville still working, T2, Hoodie, etc... you guys ran a great field back then and were the chillest guys to play with and hang around with in the staging area, maybe you guys can straighten it out in Everett.

refs are rather careless as usual when it comes to reffing rec games
refs and other employees dont really care to help players if they are running into issues or have questions.
field and field paint is also very expensive.

Original field actually sucked compared to todays standard.
Somerville field was nice, not well...

Somerville field was nice, not well lit and small staging area. Needed to be cleaned more offten.
Everett field better lighting(not great but better) nice staging area. Field needed to be cleaned more offten(almost like walking/running on ice) and staff was slow to cycle games and not paying attention to games.
New Field Chelsea, great lighting and clean(so far) Nice staging area. Quicker turn around on games(still not great)
Pro shop at both Everett(old not there anymore) and Chelsea, I've had no issues most of the times I was there. Depends on who was working, most of the people are friendly and very helpfull, a couple, not so much. Basically it's in, get what you want and out(only with a couple of people)

Boston Paintball CentralBP is a great field and store.
The fields are great and since the days of North Station BP they have tripled in size at least. They're always looking to get bigger and better.

The fields are great and since the days of North Station BP they have tripled in size at least. They're always looking to get bigger and better.
Their 5 man rotations are always a good day of play and they run a few events over the winter to fill the void (Combine, small tourney)
Their store is always stocked with the new toys. Plenty to choose from.

A little background before the review. I have been playing paintball for about 12 years now, I Live in NH but have played in MA, CT, NY and FL.
I apologize if this review is a little long winded but I wanted to put in the full story so you can see why I gave this field all 1's and would never recommend it to anyone.
I live in NH and took public transportation to get to Boston Indoor Paintball. I went to get at least three things, a new mask, replacement detents, and a freak barrel kit. I came home with nothing, here's why.
I am condensing this as best as possible. I walked in with my girlfriend and said hello to everyone, started looking in the display cases, one of the guys asked in a very short manner what I wanted. I asked him for replacement detents for my gun, he threw them on the counter and said "what else?" I said I was looking for replacement detents, he said he didn't think they had them and another guy in the shop nicely said hed go check. While all of this was going on a kid walked into the shop with a tippman that was leaking air, the guy screws a tank into it, realizes its leaking, dry fires it 5 or so times then tells the kid "yeah its leaking if I do any more than that though its gonna cost you." At this point I hadn't seen the gun but it honestly sounded like a bad tank O-Ring and not a gun related problem at all. The kid asks how much he says 40 unless it needs parts then it will be more. The entire time he was being incredibly rude to this kid who obviously just wanted to get his gun fixed. Instead of telling the kid it would be no big deal and at least trying to give him an idea of what it was, the kid was a little scared and just left his gun. Now this is HORRIBLE service, I know their a shop and trying to make money but maybe fix the kids gun on the hopes that you can up-sell him into some quality gear and send him home happy not just rip him off on some "repair" that almost certainly was an O-Ring and send the kid home confused and scared. Completely lame. Anyway, the guy came back with spring detents like I had asked and he was being helpful until the other guy started being rude and trying to push me out the door, I asked to try on a JT proflex just to see what he'd do, he handed me a pink mask that was sitting right next to a black one and said that the pink was limited edition and really rare now. At this point I had made up my mind I would not spend a penny in this store after going all that way. My girlfriend saw I was getting very angry and suggested we leave, and I walked out empty handed.
I like everyone on this site love paintball. Situations like this is why paintball is a dying sport, instead of encouraging and educating new players people like this insult them and make them feel stupid. There are definitely really good places to spend your time and money on paintball and this just isn't one of them. Find the places who are worth it and stick with them!

And when they cronoed my gun( ego 10) they used a full hopper(dye rotor) and then picked up old paint from the table put it in and broke balls in my gun leaving me to have to clean it up
but at Maynard it just amazing great conditions just the turf is dried out so you cant really slide
the refs at Maynard at really chill and cool and willing to talk to you and tell you what you messed up on so you can get it next time
