It's still a very fun field to play at and is one of the best facilities in the midwest, hands down.

Chicagoland PaintballWhen I went there were not many people there, we ended up playing 2on3 the whole time. The field needed a little maintenance but over all it was a solid day of paintball.

1. Easy location to get to. It's about 5 min off the highway which makes it more convenient to get too ( I live over an hour away).
2. Friendly Staff: The staff are friendly and will take the time to answer any questions, lend tools, and provide some troubleshooting help if you have any (just don't bug them too much).
3. Resurfaced turf: I came to the field a couple times a few years ago and immediately stopped because of the lack of quality to the field and how it would ruin your gear. Now they have new Blue / Red NPPL style turf that is only a couple months old now. I slide on it a lot and so far my gear is fine.
4. New fluorescent lighting that definitely makes the lighting much better for playing and seeing the streams. It was like playing in a cave before.
5. Indoor: for obvious reasons for climate control, indoor plumbing (I normally go to Fox with only Port-o-johns).
6. Thursday night deals: On Thursdays you get in w/ a case of paint and unlimited air for only $50. They currently give out "Formula 13" as the choice of paint. Hours are from 5pm to 10pm so you can just show up after work.
7. Experienced players have a bit more leeway: I was with a group that the staff was ok with us moving around the layout for the night and playing a different format. This is definitely great for just trying some different flavors.
Now for some Cons that I have.
1. Small pro shop. Although I was able to find a couple parts for my guns, they don't really have that many items to purchase. They only have a Tippman 98 and some spyder like gun sitting on the wall. A couple years ago there were tons of guns but that was a different economy I guess. On the flip side though the staff is very helpful and will help you out if you need any.
2. Bored Refs. I don't want to say they don't care because most of the time I go there, there are not very many people there so the refs just ref from outside the netting and relax. When I see rental groups come through though I will still see the ref just ref from behind the netting and just yell out everything but I guess that is the same from being 2 feet forward past the net. A couple of them have very short fuses with noobs which I can understand very well but they need to find a different way to make sure everyone understands the rules. Don't get me wrong either, the refs are helpful off the field if you have any questions.
Overall I very much enjoy the change of pace from playing outside all Spring, Summer, and Fall to indoors for the Winter. the field is looking a lot better with the new turf which is 90% of anyone's complaint for this field. The Thursday $50 Deal is the best bang for your buck and probably the cheapest way to play paintball in the Chicagoland area without a membership. Remember this is Airball so different style for what some might expect. Enjoy.

Chicagoland PaintballThere is not a lot of space to set up, tables and chairs ... New turf which is a hugh Plus and Not bad lighting for a indoor field

I have played here a few times for practices and its my least favorite indoor field in Illinois. They had 2 guys working and they didn't do anything. They sat on the computers and would give people their paint. Here's some pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Nice turf and indoor field.
2. Was a good temperature not too cold for paint and not to warm.
3. Has a lot of bunkers for field layouts.
Cons:
1. No one reffed the games, teams had to call the games for people and call each other out.
2. The bunkers were covered in paint and not wiped off once throughout the whole day.
3. Bunkers would deflate constantly and they told us to fill them up.
4. The lighting is kind of weak so make sure you bring clear lenses.
Overall, the field is a really nice field it's just that they need better staff. If this field was ran by the staff at O'Hare paintball, this would be hands down the best field in Illinois.

Chicagoland PaintballGreat indoor field with great service . My only problem is that the paint/turf can sometimes be hard to clean after a long time of playing there.
