hey guys i picked up my defiant.. its blue and yes its BRAND NEW i just put stickers on there for fun... they come stock with led 116 boards but this one has frenzy 127.4 lcd......

it has a clamping feedneck.. i know the feedneck looks big but its really not cuz your halo goes ALL the way into it and it has a VERY tight hold... this gun shoots AMAZING i would compare it to a mini version of my alias...its sweet....

thanks... and these guns are VERY light... and are not quite as efficient as timmys but close... i get around 8 pods and a hopper off a 45/45..... they are very compact and fast... it shoots just like an alias but i think it has less kick

Not at all. It's a totally different gun.

the original bob long defiant was a BKO by ICD. Bob long took the BKO and put it on steroids, and renamed it " bob Long Defiant" (I own an old skool defiant).

The new defiant is based on the intimidator, sort of like the IOn is based on the shocker. The new defiant(defaint 2) ripps. don't know if parts for the timmy wil work on the defiant2 or not yet its too early to tell.

If im correct.. judging(sp?? i can never get it right :dodgy: ) from the 2nd pic, this gun is even smaller than the shocker... i mean.. its like centimeteres longer than the halo... thats insanely small, im surprised a gun like this is only gonna be 800.. id judge this to be worth as much as an alias seeing how its even smaller and lighter.. but hey.. thats just mo ^_^

I held one today and dry fired it I have a proto and a dm4 and one of them is GOING and I am getting a defiant 2 these guns are supper SMALL light and have an excellent feel. I owned a shocker and this is deffinately better!!! They also come stock with a cfoa legal board so any of you cfoa ballers no need for reprograming or buying chips ready to go out of the box and I think psp has them same rules so its good there to! Nice gun I was quoted 850 retail

DH927 -- the original Defiant was a spruced up Bushmaster 2000 (i.e. cocker threaded, better grips, different milling, 2-piece barrel).

the internals were the same.

the BKO uses a spring to return the bolt. as you know, the old Defiants do not.

I think thats the case and if it is what will the difference be between the Defiant 2 and the Infamous Timmy besides some milling?

ok proto and defiant here is your answer your defiant is never gonna get a stripped feedneck ive seen many protos get their body threads stripped, defiant 2 is lighter, defiant 2 has better electronics, dye is know for horrible wiring, one positive on the proto is that dye has unmatched customer service.

its not that its the wiring on dm4's dm5's and protos sucks my dm4 solonoid wire broke off twice and my harness broke like a bigiliiion times but dye makes up with it for fixing for freee and sending fast (my point on customer service)

the proto hasa crap stock barrel. the stock board blows elephants. It seems like evreyone and there mother has a proto.(at least thats how it is in NE) The only thing ill give a proto over a dm4 is that it dosnt have a membrane pad.

I would go with a defiant.

Somewhat but it has a better reg, better barrel, better board, better and lighter ram (delrin), and smaller. IMO I think it is worth the extra money.
