One of our major sponsors is PMI and we obvioulsy use their RP Scherer paint and other products of PMI, some of which are Evil branded.
We are also heavily sponsored by Dye (We are Dye's European flagship team), Planet, PGI, Halo, Reball, WDP and Skirmish - Notts.
Barring the Russian Legion, it is the biggest sponsor deal ever done for a European team and allows us to at least attempt competing at the very top.

I was wondering if possible what do you guys get out of the sponsorship with pgi.
If you can't discuss it I understand but I've always wondered since I read your articles in pgi all the time.

thegreatego : the guys on the team tend to use it at home when they are practising snap-shooting, it certainly seems to work well for us and is an integral part of our training regime.
Ma-Trix R4 Kids : well, since I am allegedly one of the editors it tends to help when I get to choose some of the pics for my articles and also we get a Nexus sponsor page in the magazine which always helps.
What is becoming increasingly apparent in this new era of paintball is the need to promote the brand, and the Nexus brand is pushed both in the magazine and on the internet
Along with the Nexus promotion, there is also an associative promotion of all our sponsors and this is where it gets interlocked and consolidated as far as the whole deal is concerned.
PGI provides the spine that holds the sponsor package together because it provides the vehicle on which the team promotion can drive around in.
It's all about exposure...but in saying that, you have to have some substance to the team, I mean it can't be 'all show no go', they have to be able to perform at the highest level and that's where another one of my jobs on the team kicks in.
But ultimately, that on-field performance is dependant upon Ledz and the guys, I just try to provide the infrastructure and support around them to make their job a little easier.

robbo thanx for answering my question and when I think I do realize that there are many nexus pictures in pgi as well as I can't remember any recent issue to not have a full page add of the team
I understand now thanx again for feeding my curiosity.

Justin - u caught me out :)
Phat Phil - WDP are a Brit company as you know and have supported us from the start.
Nexus started life as England's XBall team when Richmond first kicked it all off a few year's back.
I was asked to head up England's selection and the team was born, WDP stepped up to the plate and gave the team a considerable amount of cash to help the team with its finanaces for the trip otherwise we couldn't have made it.
They have continued to help us in various ways and so we are more than happy to have them in our sponsor profile.
