I recently received some PM's about the differences between the Viking tool kits and would like to clairify which is which.
The gauge adapter for all the Vikings are the same. The difference is that on the 02-03 Vikings you will need both 015 o-rings.

On the 04 Viking you need to remove the front oring.

The gauge adapter for the Excaliburs are different and are not interchangable.
00-03 Excalibur adapters look like this;

04 Excalibur adapters look like this;

The cartridge removal tools are now the same for all 4 kits. Initially the 00-03 kits had a removal tool with pins on both ends. The second set of pins on the removal tool was to go into the H-Bar on the Excalibur Bolt Ram. The 04 kits do not include the spanner wrench for disassembling the cartridges that is included in the 00-03 kits.
AKA has changed the appearances slightly by extending the adapters with knurling so they can be easily installed and removed. They are also now anodized.

The back left tube is where the gauge adapter goes on both the Viking and Excalibur. On the Viking you will be removing a plug and on the Excalibur the hammer cartridge.

Dan when will you make the "Adjusting the SCM for Dummies video?" I think it should have some cheesy porn music in the background ;)

I have a few videos in mind. Problem is the time to actually tape them. I have so much on my plate that time is very valuable. Some rainy weekend I'll get the B Roll cut and then do the editing in the evenings. I just wonder if I'd have to wear a mask? :D

Haha yeah really!
Ok, I have an actual on topic question. So, what all comes in a tool kit exactly? And if I'm reading it correctly the 02-03 Viking kits are interchangeable for an 04 Viking? (As long as you remove the o-ring).

There is a cartridge removal tool, gauge and gauge adapter. In the 02-03 Viking and 00-03 Excalibur kits there is also a spanner wrench for disassembling the cartridges.
