Hey fellas. I gots some questions. I have been using my epic on co2 and would like to get nitrogen on it. I tried to get it on, but the gun just would not shoot far. I adjusted the tank output preasure way up to 750-800, and turned up the velocity on the gun, but it still was dinking shots. What output pressure are your air tanks set at??? I use antisyphon on my co2 tank and the epic has been working great, except when its cold, the orings shrink and there is a small leak between the grip bottom and asa reg. soooo, if you could tell me what you did to get it to work good on nitrogen that'd be great. Also, what hoppers do you guys use? Some hoppers are to strong and push past the detents, just wondering if anyone has had these probs. I think im fine with my 12 volt, but I was thinking maybe the new ricochet 9vlt that feeds 14 bps would be better 'cause 9vlts arent as strong as 12vlts.

I use just a simple X board Revy...Pre Brass eagle of course ;)
If you look at my Inside the Pic thread, you can sde how to take the bottem section off. Take if off and put a little oil on the orings that seal the air in that space.
Yu yusing a adjuable I take it? My crossfire out puts 850 psi into the epic and wrks great...you can actually go higher on the epic, but don't go to to high.
You can adjust the stiffness of the epic's detents to adjust to the loader you are using. Just make sure they are not too stiff or you will be streading paint, because the air pushes the ball past them when it fires.
I find my Revy is just PERFECT for the epic...looks good, nice and light ballences good and I'll prolly never out shoot it...and if I did it's not going to chop any way.

I was just wondering about the loader cause i had a new generation 12vlt xboard and the cheap plastic feedneck snapped right off. I guess I'll stick with my spare older and pre brass eagle 12vlt xboard loader. Ya, I have an apocolypse air america tank, I guess I didnt have the pressure up enough, I had it set at 750, so I will try 850 next time. Or I might just keep using c02 cause I have honestly had no problems with it whatsoever. I didnt know you could adjust the ball detents. Thanks spartan!!
Just a question. Why do you keep getting banned???

Read the Links in my Sig.
Many Epic owners have relized that the Epic handles C02 VERY well. It just gets cold likle any other gun when shooting fast...If I do you C02 I preffer to use a Gas threw stock with a remote...makes the set up extremely light and comfy...look odd to when you use a 18" barrel, all the noobs think it's a "sniper" since I use it in the woods like that...it's kind of funny actually since I know that a 18" is no more acurate then a 14".

I used to be a some waht avid Rainmaker owner. I've owned about 6 RM's and only 1 or 2 ever were relibale. I kept one in hopes that it would be a good project gun...but it just pissed me off and became a Money Pit. I used to post at BEOG and I was the BEOG photographer at the IAO OG games for KevMaster while he ran the event.

WHAT!!! You can adjust the ball detents to be stiffer!!!!!
Any trick to that? I didn't notice any way to adjust in the manual at all.
Thanks for the post ahead of time!
(I've gotta come here more often)

One adjustment is right near the feedneck, ity's looks like a set screw, the other is under the grip frame I think.
