nah, the core hostile kids came from knowing some people from hostile takeover...some of hk played with hostile takeover at psp la and now most of hk play with platinum in xball.

Hey XxStevexX, exactly what Draxxus said. The og HK4 is the most stable, long running kids team in the history of the local paintball community. The HKs are as dominating now as they were back then. As you know, back in the early days, when Hostile Takeover was a super competitive team, you organized tournaments as a team fundraiser. Then one day, this group of lawless, rotten, and wreckless kids entered your tourney, this kids team was called the Outlaws. Yep, back in the days, the HKs were known as team "Outlaws", a kids team made up of a bunch of bratty 12-14 year olds. Hostile Takeover saw a potential and much talent in these kids, so a proposal was made to recruit these foul-mouthed kids. The "Hostile Kids" continued to play in ALL the kids tournaments and were just too dominating. Their style of play was way too agg, way too overwhelming for any other team to handle. Opponents would just roll over and give up. I mean, can you imagine what it's like to face a highpowered HK team, equiped with top of the line, blue annodized Angel LCDs w/ madd trigger bounce? Their team gun tech, John, was the master of trigger jobs. He had way with making trigger bounce like no other. He had a toolbox just for trigger modifications, containing complete sets of trigger springs, from little to no tension. Trigger switches with bent levers, no levers, low resistance, and high resistance switches! With that type of weaponry, the HKs would just MOW the other teams off the field. And this was back in the days when they were playing young guns tourneys. Can you imagine what they've got going for them today? The only way to describe their current WMDs (weapons of massive destructions) technology is to simply say that they're cutting the edge of technology. Cutting the Edge. All of those Edges.
Back in the days, all the local kids wanted to get on the HKs so badly... cuz the HKs were the hottest team around.
Nowadays, at SC Arenas, HKs are feared by various ________ teams and respected by pros. By putting in a great deal of hardwork, the HKs have earned some attention and possibly some respect from the big name teams. Yep, the HKs are now recognized as a team worthy enough to practice against big name teams in X-ball, 7man, and 10man formats (with local Am superteams like PPC factory, ACI factory, etc etc).
Back then, all the kids wanted in on the HK team. Nowadays, it's the pros who would jump at the chance to play on this team. Who wouldn't??
I've always told them that they're on the verge of greatness. What's interesting is that of all people, Scooter just happens to be the heart and soul of that team, or what do you call it, the chosen one? Until Scooter is mature enough to lead his team to greatness, they will always remain on the "verge" of greatness. Scooter somehow has this ability to delegate HK power... he also decides when the HKPower gets revoked, lol. Once revoked, even I wouldn't recognize them as HKs anymore. This patented power is hard to come by, cuz it comes with many, MANY exclusive privileges. Who/What/How? Well, it was Scooter who influenced the team to become what it is today. He started it all by getting the team the big break it needed to lead them to where they are today. I can't exactly remember what or how (or maybe it's classified info?), but it was interesting.
So what's up with all these w.o.t.s. that some of their players have sold out!!?? :xeyed: If true, then that's just too bad.
So yeah, you (XxStevexX), can be assured that the HKs are continuing the Hostile Takeover virtues that they were imbued with back in the days... and making waves on their own, staying on the cutting edge of HK technology. They have Hostile Takeover to thank (espeically Brian) for all their help.

I met a tall kid who started with HK from school and when i got into paintball i was one of those kids who wanted to be on HK and wanted a blue angel like they had so i could mow people of the field...so i started playing with some of my friends and most of HK live next to me and go to the same school so i just some how found my way on HK with them. If it wasn't for HK i would still be a walk on.

Yes, I remember that game... ;)
Exactly what Draxxus said. And if it were not for them rowdy HKs, I'd still be playing tournaments using a Tippmann Model98 RT (Reactive Trigger).

dude HK didnt mow everyone down every single time. I remember a team called "Fallout" also from S.C. Arenas beatin them alot of times. They were both rookie teams. Even ask Cassidy Sanders from HK me and him used to shoot videos for Fallout, and I still have a video to this day Fallout vs HK and fall out just dominates.
And if Cass is looking at this....Little middle bunker at penelton on field 5 is the siznit

But I too can relate to HK even though I am by far their elder. It was I who allowed Scooter to attend my bachelor party and sit outside on the lawn chair and watch. I think that was the day Scooter became a man. His pimples dried up and his braces fell off. He realized that day that "girls aint so bad".
I even had the distinct pleasure of playing with several HK in the old XTC tournament and win some $cashish$. Who woulda thunk it....indeed.
More power to the HK.

Yeah, exactly what Draxxus said. I just have a few things to clarify...
Ok, first of all, I have mad respect for you socal proffessional pumpgunners, therefore I cannot say anything negative. Darnit! ;) Secondly, you (stickypumpgunman), you need to understand that there is a big difference between a mess around/pick up game and an actual scrimmage. Back in those days, HKs were nowhere as organized/disorganized as they are today. So, playing with different HK lineups (including newbie friends/family), trying out new players, etc was a normal thing for them to do. I'd say it was more like a 80% win/ 20% loss ratio against you pumpgun sharpshooters. OMG, I remember watching some of you pumpgunners jumping around in the parking lot, telling other teams,"Hey man, guesss wuut??? we just beat the Hosss-style Kidz! Yay!!" Third, think about it, why in the world would the HKs invite you pumpgunners to a full days worth of scrimmaging? Your style of play is just too scary... I mean, look at how all those big name teams lose to you socal propumpgunners... mainly because they just can't handle your agg sniping! I remember this one sad day in tournament competition when your group of "unknown" pump team systematically mowed thru Team Legacy, on their huge Diablo sup air field, in a Major tournament!!! Well, the term "mow" (made famous by www.SkinnyK.com) might be an overstatement, seeing how you all shoot at your amazingly low rate of fire: 1 ball per 20 seconds. Nonetheless, watching you propumpgunners dismantle Legacy on their own field was... not cool at all!! ;)
All I have to say is BEWARE of the agg HK WMD Technology. As you can see, HK Scooter shooting his HK Lasergun, with laser mode turned on. The high powered laser beam coming out of the barrel is used to fry the electronic boards of unsuspecting opponents. You socal propumpgunners better have spare guns if you ever play the HKs again, because HK Scooter won't hesitate to flip on his HK-powered lasergun and FRYY those top secret electronic boards hidden inside your pumpguns (yeah, don't pretend you don't have cheater boards installed in there)!

Dude that's a four year old thread please just let it die! It's all old news! Well, since you did bring it up, here are a few updates or non-updates...
Have you noticed that www.SkinnyK.com hasn't been updated since.... The last article on there was posted back around World War II with something about the third rike.
All their new updates can now be found on www.DynastyDynamics.com
And they now have a new Dynasty Dragon, lol.
http://paintball.com/pics/events/dynastynonalbum/clinic4.jpg
And that Socal Super Pumpgunner team has just picked up a fat DYE sponsorship to play in the NPPL Super 7 this year. They're likely to be hooked up with... oh wait, I can't talk about it because that's privileged info. :xeyed: But yeah, they're are on the up and up! Way to go mr. Shtickyman and the rest of you Team Blowfish socal pumpgunners!!!
Team Hostile Kids (www.hkarmy.com) lost too many (3-5) of their most experienced players to L.A. Ironmen...
http://www.hkarmy.com/paulkatic.jpg
Well it's good and bad. It's great that the HK's highly experienced players have been picked up by the Ironmen. It's bad because the kids have to play Div 2, which is more appropriate for their skill levels. How interesting? Especially when they're finally competing under their own team name, Hostile Kids! And it helps the HKs to have an entire weekend to run a private practice (X Ball) against the IK's.
http://hkarmy.com/images/021504/
Being able to play under Hostile Kids was made possible with several key sponsorship packages from www.PaintballACE.com, Empire, and their own HK Technology division. ANd... I think they're playing under a sponsor name for NPPl events. Every dollar helps, ya know?
