I'm thinking about converting my STS G2 to Low Pressure, is this an easy Modification? Also, is it an Expensive Modification?

Easy? yeah... You'll need patience to get the spring combo + operating pressure correct though...

Expensive? That really depends on if you get the super-high quality parts or not...

Really you just perform most of the stuff yourself..... all you really need to buy is a regulator to regulate the pressure going into your gun... a great site that should help you will most of your questions is:

http://www.spyder-faq-center/

I know your going to say "thats for spyders" but they are basically the same gun

I would also take a look at www.spyder-club.com :)

Polished internals ... can you buy them?

If you do it yourself, which parts need to be polished?

lol, muck

polished internals mean that you use like 600 grit sandpaper and remove all the anno off your bolt, striker, and sear. only enough to make it smooth with all the paint gone, no more no less. then take some mothers mag polish (its the best) and polish everything up until its nice and shiny.

here is the article from http://www.spyder-faq-center.com/

How to Polish Your Internals.

Several things are needed.. Mainly a metal polish like Mother's Mag Polish (available at autoshops and Walmart), Super fine grit sand paper (at least 600 grit, higher the better), a dremel makes life a little easier, and a shotgun cleaning kit with 18ga cleaning tools (for advanced polishing).

First disassemble your gun. The primary things you will be polishing are: Striker, Bolt, Sear, and your valve if you really want to. For the first three items, sand it down with your high grit sand paper to produce a smooth surface. Do not sand or do anything to scratch your valve. Be sure not to wear too much off. Once that is done, apply and polish with some elbow grease or a dremel tool. With the Mother's Mag Polish, you'll find a nice mirror shine in those parts. Now they are more friction free and more efficient. The gun will cycle and shoot more smoothly.

The advanced section uses the 18ga shotgun cleaning tools to polish the inside. Using a high speed drill or dremel, use the cotton swab for the 18ga shotgun with lots of Mother's Mag Polish on it. Coat the inside similar to a haze on a car wax. Let it dry a little. Now buff it out with a rag or another cotton swab. The internals are now polished. There are some bore cleaners and brushes that can be used for the internal receiver body to aid smoothening the inside. These help and can be used also.

Key things is using high grit sand paper and the metal polish.

here is a list of things needed to go LP from PirhanaPro

Reg (Mac Dev Gladiator) 75, g3pb.com
Drilled vertical adapter(stock one works fine) Free
Turbo Valve(any brand will do, make sure it comes with a valve pin) 25, g3pb.com
High flowing bolt(White Wolf Delrin) 25, http://members.aol.com/wlfwrose/
Low Ported barrel(lapco bigshot) 50, g3pb.com
High flowing hoses(Stainless steel) 10, local store
Anti Syphon tube, 10, local store
Polished internals, free

i dont think white wolf makes bolts for pirhanas but the stock one should work ok, pm pirhanapro about modding your stock bolt to make it higher flowing

Thanks Chop ... I imagine if the White Wolf Delrin bolt works on a spyder, it may also work on a Piranha ... of course, I've been wrong before. The more I think about it, the more I want to do something "different" with my STS ... but, it's gotta wait until I buy a new marker.

LOL, man... Just read that again and see if it makes sense, hehe. I think what he meant was that spyder bolts don't work on piranhas. Hehe... ;)

I orderd a delrin bolt for my Piranha like four months ago but it is on back order.
Do the internals touch the inside of the marker, I thought just the
O-rings did. Is thier any need to sand stainless steel parts?????
They have a porclen coating stock and not venturi.

sanding a TINY BIT will reduce friction. It's not really needed, but it helps. And some parts of the bolt and hammer touche the body, that is why you mwill eventually see some wear on it.

DO NOT SAND THE INTERNALS OF A PIRANHA!! They are already polished. The bolt is ceramic coated - which is smoother than the aluminum underneath... The hammer is also coated though not ceramic, do not sand it either. Spyder maybee - Pirahna - no, no, no.

actually, yes yes yes. It helps reduce the noise of the shot, and it helps reduce friction. It's not gonna kill the gun unless you over do it.
