View Full Version : how the hell did this happen?

last sunday i brought my gun home and lubed/cleaned it then i put it back together and put some gun oil in the asa and dry fired i thought i turned the eyes off but i turned them on. when i came back in the house i realized i had shot with the eyes on i opened up my gun and found that a wire coming off my solenoid was hanging off my noid by a thread (literaly). well i took the cover off and tried to solder it back together. i got it back together but it didnt fix the eyes. i cant figure out how the wore broke like that and how i broke the cover over the board on my noid ne ideas?

i did end them its in 12 point font so the periods are microscopic

you probably pinched a wire while putting it back together. check all your connections for pds and make sure the solenoid wire is soldered correctly on.

Dont put oil in your asa!!

yea no kidding do not ever put oil in the ASA. It messes up the solenoid.

a drop of oil or two won't hurt it. but you probably put too much.

i kno i didnt pinch a wire but im pretty sure i soldered the wire back on right i had to thin out the solder joint becase i coudnt get the case back over the joint to cover the board

yea no kidding do not ever put oil in the ASA. It messes up the solenoid.

when i first got it and i asked arround people told me thtat i was supposed to put a few drops in i put literaly 3 drops in
