Though not on Trauma..
Practice
Practice
Practice
And
Practice?
Basically get on a good team, win some tournaments, send the Sponsor an Email w/ Bios/Info/ and everything you think they would like to know about your team.

The guy above me pretty much summed it up. Unless your on a well know team then you probably wont get any large name sponsors. So practice your *** off , get noticed, get on an already established team or start your own team and work your way up, and go from there. Unless you can do something for them (mainly win) then why should they do anything for you right?

it also pays to get a sponsorship through a local paintball store, that will at least get a sponsor on your jersey, the stores can usually put in a good word for your team with larger sponsors (ie: empire, gen-e..etc) don't even try dye, it'll never happen. they are very picky about who they sponsor, also try smaller upstart paintball companies too, they usually hook up lesser know teams to get their name out there as well.
good luck and i agree with everything the two posts above me say....especially the practice, practice, practice part.

best advice i can give is this, work your *** off as a team and try to become the #1 team for a local field/store. hopefully its a decent sized field that does quite a bit of business with larger companies. stores and fields sometimes get things from larger companies to give to teams. at first it will cost lots of money. but eventually it will pay off. you just have to have the dedication to hang in there. and just like everyone else said above, practice and play in as many tournaments as you can. winning is good, but its not the most important thing in sponsorship. making your team original and known to the public is what gets you sponsored. look at HK, they get things because everyone knows about them.

^^^^HK is a very unsuccessful tourny team though. But just work your *** off to get sponsored. Give it your all.

The way i always figured was that it wasn't that you just go work your *** off and you'll get stuff, because everyone is trying that. You have to approach the sponsors with not a bio and stuff about your team, but a plan on what you can do for them, it should be all about the company. In the proposal or presentation or meeting, however you go about talking to your sponsors you should always use the "you" form of speaking, its hard to explain right now because i cant think of any examples, but bascially you would hardly say i or we....something like "You would benefit for this sponsorship because...blahblah blah" Don't say "We would both benefit...blah blahblah" because that sounds more like yer talking about yourself....just thought i'd throw out my 2cents...hope it helps and i hope you can understand it i just spent the last 6 hours doing an essay on greek history
