sounds familiar to the 03 feedneck, that thing was a peice ’o crap. it could barely hold anything, u usually had to use tape around the neck so could clamp.

I think that would make it have more kick. From my experences with my T1, it had more kick after I put my QEV on it.

Because with the QEV on, it makes the ram easier for the spriing to push back. Because of less air pressur in the ram cap. (just a guess)

Well dude, i have been in this thread and the Ion Vs Wrath thread and He has switched sides on this so many times that i dont even understand him now. He also has all these gay little sayings that aren't funny. They are stupid annoying. people who have the wrath, does it have a sensitive trigger, or do you have to pull it back far?

Wrath trigger pull is way more adjustable than Ion trigger. I fired both of them with adjusted trigger (Ion with AND without a magnet) and I found the Wrath to be the faster gun hands down. The Ion is fast, and it IS much lighter, probably more than half a pound lighter or more so, but the trigger pull isn't very good and when I was dry firing a Wrath the Ion guy trying to keep up with me couldn't until he turned on rebound mode. You can even get the Wrath trigger to have a little bounce if you adjust it the right way, same with the Ion, but I find bouncing the trigger unfair, especially when the Wrath still managed to outshoot the Ion. Also, with paint in them, the Wrath was more consistent in velocity and seemed to shoot more accurately than the Ion as well, even with the barrel which every claims 'isn't very good.'

Yeah that's a pretty good video, I don't know how he had his Ion set up, that's about the speed I was firing on the Wrath. Honestly though, for all I know that thing could be on rebound mode, or he could have an aftermarket trigger, or any number of other factors, but if it's all stock then the two Ions I shot that had been adjusted just weren't adjusted as well.

Also, in real life the blue-silver fade looks better than it does in the pictures, but black looks good too. I say it's personal preference really, but once again, try to see them both in real life and hold them both before you make a judgement call.

Once you've fired them both in real life you'll know why we brave few defend this marker. What we need is a weapon; a flag to rally behind. That would be a video. A good example would be the video of that upp'd Ion with a $300 Max-flo regulator and freak barrel being fired by that guy from Philly Americans. We need a video clearly showing both the speed and accuracy of a stock Wrath and possibly of an Ion next to it. Honestly, both are very awesome, but I like the wrath for the trigger pull, field-strippability, and looks.

Trix's are nice, and I believe, though not 100% certain, the first ones were made by Diablo. So in a round-about sorta way, that makes you a member of the Diablo family. The jury is still out on the efficiency of the Wrath. I will be running a whole slew of different tests soon. Kinda like the old performance tests in "Hot Rod Magazine". You know, get a baseline of the marker stock, change something, do another test, change something else, test again. It should help answer a lot of questions.

Either use a digital camera or just go to radio shack and see if they'll loan you a video -> .avi or .mov converter thingy. I have a digital camera and as soon as I can get my gun and get good on it, I'll make one.

My local store/field, which is usually very awesome with great service, has really screwed this one up. First they sold a gun which, I will admit, I 'reserved' somewhat 'loosely.' Next, I asked them to order a blue one, and a week later they claimed they had just got a black one in and tried to sell it to me for a higher price (I think they were just trying to sell their black ones they already had in stock.) Now I've e-mailed the store and field owner, and he's personally going to order me a blue one, pay shipping, and sell it to me for $255.

No features that make it more tempting than a Wrath besides BPS though, and I'm willing to bet it won't fire TOO much faster. If they had ramping and slapped a Q-Loader on it, it would make for an impressive vid though!

i mite get banned but, its worth it... 1. q-loaders look like a big gaint donkey p**** on your gun. 2. the b2k5 milling owns the wrath. also, this is diablo's first line of guns, which look basically like the t1 frame on the reaper huh? yeah, posers caugh caugh3. ion ownage =) i looked over the stats, everbody is jumping in to make after-market products for the ion, unlike the wrath. and if you say the outer layer is cheap on the ION, quit paintball. Well the frame is cheap, not as a bad thing but great value. I know this cause piranha's trigger frames are made with the same stuff, and it does look cheap and breakable. but when you feel it, it feels really strong, and also it doesn't really feel cheap like you think it would.

Edit- Oh ya, I shot the ION a couple of weeks ago at a store. It was pretty good but the trigger sucked and it wasn't really consistant. All in all, I think it is definitely worth 285$. I have yet to shoot the wrath though...

I may make a new one tomorrow. My friend's gonna see if he can bring a camera. I currently spent all my money on my gun so I have none for good paint or even air fills, so my friend's letting me use some air from his tank. Also, the 500 rounds I got free with my gun are like .687 or something and the barrel on the Wrath is sorta large (like .691 or something), so the accuracy will suck and I'll probably be breakin balls in the barrel like mad. In addition to that, I'm sorta new with the gun and I'm not very fast on it.

Diablo made the Mongoose's before the Wrath's, Reapers, ect.

From what I heard, Diablo's guns are being made by Odyssey's (and used to be Draguns) manufacturer, so posing is not there, sorry.

Really, the Ion can't be compared to the Wrath besides the feel you prefer. If you like the feel of a timmy, go to the Wrath, a Shocker, to the Ion.

And don't tell people to quit paintball, its just...... stupid. The outer layer isnt cheaply made either, its made out of polymer plastic, the stuff glock's are made of? so even the shell of the ion's despite what people say are NOT cheaply made.

Your right on the q-loaders. They suck. And sure, the b2k5's may have great milling, but its a BUSHMASTER, sorry to break it to ya, but all the bushmasters I see round the fields (5 near me) are on the sidelines trying to be fixed, 2 of my friends had to get there money back because they didn't listen to me to go to the Ion or the Wrath or the Reaper, or o3, ect.

I don't own a Wrath, I own a shocker, I would go with an Ion over the Wrath because I don't like the wrath's feel. The Wrath's are great guns, i've heard NOTHING wrong about them, so haters, stop hating.

from wut i feel, the wrath trigger is much easier to rip on than the ions. The ion has like the two finger slots which i personall don't favor. Also the magnest make it much too snappy and it has a wierd feel. The wraths trigger is extremely light and smotth for a stocker. That is just my opinion though, different prople like different triggers though.

haha, just to finish it off, somehow the "better eyes' on my friens ion just decided to stop working on him for no reason during about the third time he shot it. My "lower quality eyes" are still working perfectly hopper after hopper. hmmmmm.
