I will be moving from Buffalo to Charlotte later in July, and am interested in finding a new paintball team in the area. I played with Chill Factor back in Buffalo. Any interested teams from the Charlotte (specifically Pineville) area please email me at nostyle126@aol.com.

Odd Details:
I have played back and left tape.
I have a tricked Bushmaster.
I am used to 5- and 3-man events, but would be fine with others.
Strength: accurate shot, ability to read the field.
I am 23 years old, 5' 10", and 190 lbs. I am not fast, but I am not slow.
I am a righty shot.

Welcome to our fair city. One place to check out is CJ's. Their site is undergoing heavy construction so I can't supply a link yet but they are working on it. They have a couple of teams right now and are not looking for new members at this point. From what they tell me though they have a bunch of guys, including myself that play up there that are looking to start a team. They have two stores, one in Matthews and a new one in Cornelius. If you wanna email me your address I can have a flyer mailed to you with directions to the store and the fields.

Besides CJ's there is also Metrolina Paintball (http://www.metrolinapaintball.com/) in Charlotte and The Paintball Spot (http://www.paintballspot.com/) down in Rock Hill. I've played at metrolina and they are okay, wooded fields, trenches, okay reffing mostly rec players playing from there. I haven't played at the Paintball Spot so I can't tell ya about that one. Cj's has a wooded field and 3 speedball fields. Tourney guys are usually playing there on Sundays. Like I said, email me and I'll have a flyer sent to you about CJ's.

Thanks for the info. I was in Charlotte last week and stopped by CJ's store off of 51. My wife has relatives from that area, but I'll be closer to Pineville. He told me about his team (Team Wide Open) and one other team (Disturbed).
I'm gonna have to get settled and everything before I can think about getting on a team anyways, but I was hoping for the inside scoop on tournaments in the area, so thanks for the info you gave me. I'd give you my new address, but I don't know it for sure yet. Maybe someday we'll meet. I'll be toting the purple bushmaster with everything on it. Later.

In September CJ's will be having a 3-man on that Saturday and a 5-man that Sunday. You can also check out CFOA (http://cfoa.homestead.com/index.html)
It's a league here for the Carolinas.

We live in Monroe and we just opened up a field in Waxhaw/Mineral Springs. Gives us a call and come down. Right now we are organizing our CFOA (carolina field owners association) team. We would greatly enjoy some new faces so come on down and play. You can call the owner of the field Josh Duncan.
