View Full Version : Jersey For A Freind?

Dear Avalanche, and to whom it may concern.
I have a freind (a great baller from south Texas, he is 17 years old) who was recently diagnosed with cancer. He is currently in the hospital undergoing a operation in which will take several days, and it will take him serveral weeks to recover from.
His birthday is two weeks from now, and I wanted to supprise him with one of the greatest (paintball) gifts he has ever recived from a freind. I was kind of hoping to get a old jersey off of one of you guys if you would be so willing to give it to someone who could send it to me, or my freind for his birthday.
Im just asking you for a little thing for my freind, if its not ok I totally understand why it is not. I notice people selling all of these jersys on here for $100+. I just want my freind to have a good birthday this time, I know how misurable he is right now, and I also know how special this would make him feel right now.
Thanks for spending your time to read this!

no offense and like not to be mean at all
but now we are all wondering whether or not he really has a friend with cancer. Maybe he does. maybe he doesn't. And ime sure someone would try this to get a free avalanche jersey.
yet again, sry if ur friend really does have cancer, it just sounds kinda sketchy

My grandmother just died from lung cancer...it sucks, she got it and died within two months once they found out...she also had alzhimers(SP?) which actually helped, as for she didnt remember the pain 5 minutes after it started... :dodgy:
Cancer sucks, my mother is adopted and we don't know what is in her history...the doctors thought she might have had breast cancer...but it wasnt but she still had surgery, and same story for my sister...
Cancer blows, give this guy some good ****. Don't take cancer lightly

I don't mean to be rude, but its really hard to expect a Jersey from a pro team just beacuse you posted an article on the biggest paintball forum on the net. We will never ever know if your friend really does have Cancer, and neither will Avalanche. Theres alot of sick people in this world who would make up this kinda stuff, hopefully you aren't one.

why cant anyone trust anyone anymore? Im not preassuring them to send me anything, im just asking for a small favor. When I recive ANYTHING from them I will post what it is, along with pics of it, and if you EVER see it being sold on ANY pb forum well then you can tell Avalanche and they will jump on my like 45 Pit Bulls on a steak. I only want this for a freind, Im never going to put it on.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
Now for my sad story. My wife is mad at me. This is almost worse than having cancer if you know my wife, or have any experience with pissing off hot blooded italian women.
I would like Avalanche to buy me an escort. I know that you must get this kind of request all the time, and I understand if the answer is no.
But if you could find it in your heart to hook me up, then I will never forget you.
Seriously though, cool move sending the kid something for his b-day.
Hope the dude gets better.

their are some people on these forums who are VERY ignorant. If you have NOTHING HALF decent to say about ANYTHING related to the thread, post it...If not, PLEASE stay out of the thread.

The truth is dude, that in this world today people are sick enough to take advantage of others with a sad story like that.
Dont instantly think that cause people dont believe you means that they are out to get you. We just wanna make sure ur not gonna pull crap like that.
Its pretty obvious you arent at this point. Srry to hear about your friend

also there is an annual thing in my city called the Big Spring Jam and switchfoot heard my story and was nice enough to give me and 4 or 5 friends seats on the side of the stage during their concert. before and after we hung out and they gave me autographed stuff. that really made my day/week/year and i really wish i could find the story online but i cant :(
