Thinking of getting a new gun in the near future, in the 500 dollar range. Whats better a vision impulse w/ ups from ebay or the new ICD b2k5

i dont see the difference.... how are these guns chopping if they have vision/pds... why is one anti chop system better than the other

vision= reflective eye which means it can only read certain colors of paint

pds= breakbeam which is just a laser and when a ball breaks the plane it fires.

Whatever year you go with on the B2K, replace the HPR immediately, especially with the 2k4. Get a Messiah or Palmer's Fatty.

thanks for the help guys.... b2k5 it is.

Only thing i heard about bushmasters is that they have blowback and it kinda sucks that i gotta pay 500 for a gun and then replace its bolt.... but im gonna wait and see if the 2005 has blowback

i heard that the b2k chops tons and the impulse is tons better. Of course i don't got either guns. My friend has a impulse and its awsome. 4 CASES NOT ONE CHOPPED (i am witness). impulse is a top end gun b2k is middle range.

I personally work with and know 7 people with new 2004 B2K's, and they all work flawlessly except for the HPR, which have been replaced by BL Torpedos or Palmer's Fattys.

No, Impulses weigh twice as much and there is just as much support from Indian Creek and B2K owners as there is from Smart Parts and Impulse owners. Two of the people I know that have new B2K's switched directly from brand new Impulses and are happy they did. Both had minor problems with their Impulses that Smart Parts was not able to correct (the bolt was sticking forward occasionally).

That's correct. The board is capped at 36, but the marker will cycle at a max speed of about 26-28. You should go start a new thread in the Indian Creek forum.
