People say alot of things about other people out there. I have been playing so long that I have been called just about everything by everyone. I let people sit back and make their own choice about who I am and how I play.
RMartin

And he can have that answer because he's the most marketable player out there. I mean, do you ever NOT know is him? i doubt it.
when youre on top, everyone hates. especially when everyone knows who you are. The more others hate on you, the more of an impact you've probably made.

lasoya is an amazing player to watch. and from what i saw in chicago, a great guy off the field as well. people should not judge a player's actions in that level of play before they understand that level of play.

If you're going to tag Lasoya with the name cheater, then you might as well do it to just about every other PRO and AM player our there. I'm not saying that they all cheat, I'm just saying that at the level they're playing on almost everyone cheats. I saw it happen numerous times at Cup by some of the best ballers in the world, and Chris was not one of them.
Chris doesn't depend on peoples labels to define him as a player, he does it on his own by bunkerin' your @$$ in a run through.

the funniest thing i have ever seen in paintball was at PSP Orlando earlier this year. The x-ball match was going on and the coach called timeout and the game started anyway. Chris runs up to the coaches box and grabs the towel and throws it up in the air and says "That means timeout" or something to that effect. Then some smart-*** in the crowd calls chris a bitch or something and lasoya turns around and tells him "Yeah buddy, i dont see you out here...You dont have the Sack to play on this field" lasoya then turns around and donkey rides his gun hopping all the way back to the start box... It was the most entertaining minute of paintball i have ever seen...

i was at world cup and i saw chris driving a gator 4 x 4 with god know how many cases of hellfire in the back and at that moment i thought to myself "Damn, there goes the luckiest guy in the world" Paintball has been very good to chris and i beleive hes given back tenfold. Chris is my favorite player being a mid player myself, and infamous is my favorite team, whether their called miami effect, or avalanche. welcome to PBnation and keep doin ur thing!

i defintely dont remember him saying anything to any fan in the crowd before he rode the pony.
from what i saw, chris bunkerd a player, the ref called him clean and chris said "what are you doing?!", then rode the pony. but maybe i couldn't hear him too well or something.

everyone cheats at one time or another...In orlando, i got hit on the leg during the breakout while i was on the way down to kneeslide. Infact i didnt even know i got hit until after the game and one of our crew told me i got hit and when i slid it came off... I didnt do it on purpose, but it is still considered cheating... the ref didnt see it, so it didnt happen. i saw bob long cheat against XSV when he blatantly wiped a goggle hit... the refs didnt see it, so it didnt happen. Thats the sport of paintball... Infact every sport has cheaters... football... During every kickoff, there is a penalty and if it isnt called it is considered cheating. in basketball the players are now doing Michael Jordans "HopStep" It is actually travelling but it doesnt always get called. I dont think cheating is necesarily a bad thing, but when a player cheats and then denies it until they are blue in the face, that is a bad thing. You cheat, you get caught, you pay the price. If you dont get caught, well you just gained an advantage. (In no way do i condone cheating, but it happens and nothing will ever stop it. The trick is to limit the cheating.)

Everyone who has played paintball for over a year has cheated in someway, Lasoya in his prob 20 years of pb has cheated, no doubt, but who hasnt...Chris is gettin old now but somehow hes like the energizer bunny, he keeps going and going and going, people usually go down hill as they grow older and lasoya is still getting better, he is by far the best overall player in paintball and paintball would be different today if we didn't have Lasoya.

Another Question for Chris
In no way to insult you but oviously you are getting a little older......Do you still feel that you can do everything on the field that you could do 5 or 6 years ago???? Thanx...

Salm [apparantly] was the kind of dude who's very loyal to his friends and was VERY into paintball, so when he was banished, the world came crashing down on him. Don't crack jokes at him.

While I admire his loyalty to his friends and his dedication to paintball, the type of cheating he did was over the line, in my opinion. Yes, cheating is cheating. But to me, what he did was just way too blatant. I think "the punishment fit the crime." I don't feel a bit sorry for him. On the flip side, he's working his way back, which is admirable.
And if I chose to take a jab at him, there's not a thing you can do about it. It's just how I feel about it.

"Friday afternoon saw a controversial game that will no doubt be the subject of conversation for years to come. Ground Zero Gold faced Avalanche in the preliminary rounds on the National Paintball Supply field, on the South edge of the tournament complex. After a few GZ players were eliminated, they stood in the dead box trying to figure out who had shot them. They had been hit in the back. GZ player Pete Utschig looked out in the woods and spotted some blond hair. He bolted from the dead box, and reportedly chased down and apprehended Jeremy Salm of Avalanche dressed in black, with a black paintgun.
Statements had been made prior to the game that Salm was ill, so Avalanche team owner and retired player Ed Poorman was playing in his place on Friday. The decisions that resulted from the game were that Avalanche forfeited their points for the game, was withdrawn from the tournament, and Salm would be suspended from NPPL/PSP tournaments for the 2003 season.
"We, Team Avalanche, would like to apologize to our sponsors and our fans for the actions of one individual, who is no longer on our team. Although, as a team we take full responsibility, we would like everyone to understand that we were unaware of what had transpired until after the fact. Also, we would like to state that the decision made by the rules committee was the correct one."

well heres the moral:
if a player from avalanche dressed in black that was reported not to be playing cuz he was sick, and he asks to borrow your gun,
