Arkenstone Paintball Acworth Georgia

Hiya all just wanting to get some feed back about this local field in the north georgia /atlanta area... send me some comments!!!

I have played there about once a month for the last 8 or 9 years. Love it! I have played at two other fields and they do not compare.

They focus more on having fun instead of the hardcore paintball players, and have a wide variety of fields.

I now ref there.

I would like Airball. Xball, sup air ball, or hyperball would be good. At LEAST 2 airball fields.

That's why I don't go to Arkenstone.

If he doesnt give what I want to play, I don't go there. If he had airball and better prices, I would go there. Until then, **** them.

arkenstone sucks dude. The fields suck, the prices suck, it all sucks. I live about 10 min from there, but i travel 35 min to ultimate cuz its 1000x better. $10 for all day air, and $10 to play, bring your own paint, go pick up a case of Heat for $40 @twisted halo off 41 by hooters. Ultimate has awesome fields 2, NO WOODSBALL! :)

hey dont dog arkenstone its alright they have some good aspects. i work at ultimate and have played there for about a year now......it has great prices great managment(TED!!!) and top quality techs all the time who will generally fix your gun for no charge at all. there are also any skill level there from national tourneys to just beginners. in N. Ga. Carnage paintball and ultimate paintball are the ONLY two places to play....they both have cheap prices, carnages owner is studly, and ultimate has a lot of nice fields. i prefer carnage better, just cause they have a woodsball field, and i like to take time out of my day to go own some little kids at the castle...

Ultimate kicks some they r cheap and helpful they r not so strict you have more freedom of who u want to play with

Arkenstone is just a different type of field, I personally prefer airball and xball so I choose Ultimate but I feel that if your more into the woodsball aspect of the game then by all means Arkenstone is one of the best fields for it in Georgia. To each his own, dont be a hater.

I like big daddys too but ever since I was at a tournament there I don't like it quite as much because they were not following there own rules

Ha, Hunter you know I'm not hatin. :p But I agree with you, for woodsball, ArkenStone is the way to go. If you like Airball, Ultimate or Big Daddy's is the way to go.

owners amazing, cheaper prices than ulimate, but not as good of fields.....carnage is more of a woodsball, with only two speedball fields; air and spools... they are getting more though! its worth checking out!

You want to know why mike wont let you have your air fields?
1. its a REC BALL field. its not for you tournaments guys
2. He knows that with airball come disrespective, disgusting kids who trash the hell out of our fields, and pay no respect towards authority or safety.

i use to ref at vision, so im not BS-ing all this stuff. 12 tourny players will always leave more trash then 40 of our rec ball players.for example:
Today i had worked with around 20-30 home depot guys. This was my first day, so right off the bat i was like great... think of all the trash 10 players at vision leave, or ultimate, and multiply that by 4. Man i was wrong, they were the most polite, respective paintball players i have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Im sorry if you think we're expensive. We charge fair, reasonable prices. We have 15 acres of fields to take care of. And im willing to bet almost no one here that posted bad about arkenstone has ever even been there.

On another note...
Chris, thanks for your help today. Also i think the road course needs new bunkers. i would gladly pitch in some old plywood or some elbow grease if you need it. Also maybe we could make some more discreate interances into castle. And if it wouldn't cost too much, maybe re-dumping the mounds, and adding some more of that sewer pipe so the guys can move up a little faster.

A game type i would like to see would be a wild west shootout, like a 10 pace turn around and shoot on dodge city.. just a thought.

So please only post your opinions in here if you actually played. If you dont like it, fine, dont come back. Just keep in mind if you ever want a professional, well-run field. our gates are open every weekend

Why would you go to arkenstone ? If you want to play woodsball play n ur backyard! I have a lot of freinds who have fields n there backyards- but i refuse to play w/ them cuz i HATE woodsball (and posion ivey)

i know where vision is. Dont go waste your money there. the airfield has holes in it, and their safety aspect of the game is.. lacked at best

I really would like to know why a lot of people don't like vision all that much. The staff is friendly, brand new field, good prices in my view, and by the way what is wrong with "the safety aspect of it"?

They call it "white box" As far as I can tell, its pretty good paint.
