Pevs--sup air field

Does pevs have one...they advertise one in thier broucher on thier sight...i know they have "air bunkers" but im wondering if hey have a secnd field somewere the one the brouchre had a grassy field...the pevs iplay at certantly dosn't....

I think they only have the one. Or at least I never have heard of more than the one. It could have been an old picture. I remember three years ago they did have Sup-air but I think now all they have is hyper-ball.

Pevs got rid of the Sup'Air.... as many advantages as there are with sup'air, there are MANY more disadvantages. for example, if it rains, you really don't wanna' run a blower (with electrical cords and all) in wet conditions, also, the tubes and bunkers get all muddy, and milder can start to grow in the tubes and the bunkers themselves... So, if it snows or rains (and this is Virginia guys, not Cali...), then you can't set it up, and you have just a big field, useless for that day...

is that what there gonna play the tournaments in at least cause thats cold cause im a "wannabe tourney player"only becaus we cant find a decent third man,but anyways i wanna use it

Ok the "Sup Air" field that you speek of is really a ballon field. This means that the bunkers were all in a hot-dog shape , and were all semi-permentaly filled up (no generator, no blower..ect.) They stopped using this field due to the fact that it did not provide enough varity. They now use 2 tublar hyper-ball fields. And to clear it up......there is only one pevs field.(woodbridge VA.)

Keep an eye out for some field changes in the feuture.

Sweet...that would be awsome.....If u have any "inside information" on the develop ment of this sup'air field let us know...I know pevs wont put anythign on their website, since they only change it every 2 years

he said to the right as your comming in...the hyperball fields are on the left...i think he is talking about the place where they did have the chrono. Am i wrong:confused:

no i believe you are correct but they must have to do some clearing or take away some parking or both

If they do get one i hope it is 10 man we just got an Ultimate Air for our field but its a 5 man i would like to see something new in the area for or team to practice on.

that would be pretty sweet to have. But ten man seems pretty big compared to the room at the "shooting" range that they use to have. I remember they brought in the inflatable bunkers for the tourney in june 2001....the red ones...that sucked *** cuz they didnt even pin them down with anything. But with all the money pevs is getting from the higher feild fees i guess it might be possible for them to get a new feild. Damn there Humvee and landrover

Humvee and Excursion... but you have to think, Pev is doing the stores and fields as a hobby, he has a real job, as well as hosting Pevnet.com, which is sorta' a hosting service for paintball companies... Also, the prices increased because land in Montgomery County (Rockville store location) is excruciatingly expensive. a 500,000 house in Bethesda (middle of Mont. Count) is four times as old and four times small than a 500,000 house in Woodbridge... When opening the store in Rockville, they had to raise some prices...
