We shot Blaze at PBC, not sure what Drew will have though. If for some reason it is not Blaze I'm sure Drew will have something on par or better.

This one is at La Xtreme Paintball. In Slidell, Lousiana.


It's 3-man. $1000 plus choice of halo bs, empire gear, or empire barrel kits for 1st. $500 and choice for 2nd. 3rd is free entry to the next one in the series i believe.

Then for rookie its $500 plus prizes for first.
Then $250 for second and prizes.
Then 3rd is entry again.

I thought it was going to be at PBC this time as well. This is what I was told by Michael Schafer, manager of LAX.

I was also told by Mr. Charlie at PBC it was going to be at PBC.

All of this was told to me this weekend.

Just trying to get facts straight.

I just found this thread guys.
So, to get the facts straight:
We have cancelled on the Sept 26th Pelican Cup at LAX.
As far as dates at PBC, you will have to check with the powers that be.

this tournament is a three man format.

What they did last time for the format, is the first round was round robin.

The field was cut to the top 8.

Out of the 8 teams, the top 4 were considered NOVICE and the bottom 4 were considered Rookie.

Then another round robin, with those teams in those brackets determined the winners.

Not sure how PBC will do this round, but hopefully that helps.

The next tournament in this series will be held at Paintball Command. LAX will not be hosting the next event. This will be the last event of this series. Series points will carry over and event and series trophies will be given to 1st thru 3rd place. Prizes will remain the same. The registration process and deadine has changed.

Registration will end 1 week before event!
Deadline to register (including payment) is Sunday, Sept. 19th.
Tournament is based on a minimum of 14 registered teams.

Entry fee is $150.00 (including fills)
$65.00 per case of Draxxus Blaze.

PELICAN CUP OPEN SERIES

1st Place Novice - choice of prizes + $1000

2nd Place Novice - choice of remaining prizes + $500

3rd Place Novice- 3 cases Draxxus Blaze paintballs

1st Place Rookie - choice of remaining prizes + $500

2nd Place Rookie - choice of remaining prizes + $250

3rd Place Rookie- 3 cases Draxxus Blaze paintballs

$3500 in cash and prizes for each tournament.

Prizes for each tournament: 3 sets of Empire jerseys, tournament pants, and gloves, three Halo "B"s, three Empire barrel kits

We hope to see all the local teams represented as well as teams that have never played this series before. We are looking forward to a great tourney! Reffing will be expertly handled by the Rock-It Kids!!
