I am just seeing who all is on this forum that plays at sherwood forest. I play and ref there. So who else plays there?
And is anybody going to be there this Saturday(6/23)?? I will be reffing.
I played there once. I didn't have a good time because of a ref. All in all it's a fun place to play.You probably remember me from PBD

is sherwood forest in sherwood, oregon?
I play there most of the time. Really good field and the refs are great. bob's is right next door and if it wasn't for his f@$##!-up prices I would play there from time to time. Sherwood is a great place to play especially if you want to get better as player, I LOVE FIELD #2!
I agree with you brix field #2 is the best. I like to ref that field the most also.

I wish I can play paintball this weekend. I haven't played in a month and should be starting back up in about 2-3 weeks.
Ken- I don't remeber what the ref really looks like, it's been a while.

Tahoe It takes some time to become a ref there, i already tried andthey jus tol me to keep askin and maybe they'll ned me sometime :( but o well. Hey any1 gonna be there this saturday at Sherwood, I'm goin i'll be in the greyand black kapp jersey and a new 32* Blue vision impulse
I will be there reffing on Saturday. Hope to see some of you guys there. I will also be wearing a green jt jersey that says Radosevich on it.
Yes it does take a while to ref there. You pretty much have to get to know the people. I used to play every weekend and be there really early in the morning. Sometimes even before they got there. That is what they liked about me because then that would let them know that I wouldnt be late on the job.

oh ya thats right. I forgot about the tourny on sunday. Well that sucks, that means that most of the tournament players wont be playing sunday.

Carlo and Alex Taped it, it was ok, we got into the Semis, but had some bad games and didn't make into the finals. 8th out of 30 not bad for our first tourney as a full Onyx Team. They got some great shots and Mecam is gonna edit and make them into streaming video on the web. He got a great shot of me running up and bunkering some guy.
looks like im gonna hit up mecam tonight or tomorrow for the vid - just put a little pressure on him;) so no rec next sat, huh :confused: thats not good (giggle) oh well i may just have to cruise out to modesto w/ ya
I'm not gonna get to go this sun, but you should go, they're gonna play with Some Pro and Am Players. Sounds like fun, but I'm going to be in San Jose at WWF SUMMER SLAM!

Hey whats up... I used to play at sherwood, I talked with you all on the paintballcity forum. I'm at college now on the east coast so I can only get out there a few times a year. (but lots during the summer)
Fields out here aren't that great, I've only been to one, and the speedball field was on a slope, annoying. Has sherwood ever put up that hyperball field they were thinking of?

Does it suck playing in the rain???? And how is the feild when it rains??? Is is really muddy or decent playing conditions??? I've never played in the rain. By the way does anyone know how the weather is up near Vallejo???
Well i have only played in the rain once and it wasnt that bad. Just went the water gets on your goggles. I live 10 minutes from the field and it is not raining here. It was raining lightly this morning but not to bad, it was sunny the rest of the day. So hopefully it wont be raining on saturday.

playing in the rain sux- mainly because it is very hard to keep paint from swelling. The moisture in the air wreaks havoc on paintballs. I will only play in the rain if at a tourney and you have no other choice.
