it shoots fine out of the box, maybe just a little bit of tuning is needed to have it function at the best possible pressure but that's easy stuff. as for upgrades, that's really up to you. if you like the way it shoots out of the box then it's all good. On mine I have a Shocktech Ram and QEV's, Shocktech Superfly, and a Xonik frame. I love it.

out of the box a system x is great. the stock barrel is more than decent until you can get something better. i would suggest for upgrades: worr hinge frame(i just like the feel an customizablilty of this frame), cp 2 peice barrel, a supafly bolt, and dye stickie 3's. after that you will have a very nice cocker.

JAM Bolt is a nice upgrade for any cocker.
If you do decide to go electro I would recommend upgrading the ram, the stock is pretty good but there are better ones out there (.44 magnum/belsales/eclipse)

Hey,
I read older system x markers weren"t as good as newer ones..
well, is a vengeance 2.0 (2k3) a good marker? I mean when people talk about older system X markers that were made of cheap aluminium etc, what year are they talking about
(sorry for the bad english, I just do my best)

The 2003 2.0 Vengeance line is, in my opinion top notch. They did away with the twist lock bolt idea and vastly improved their internals. I now own 3 Vengeance 2.0 markers(1 Xonik, 1 e-Blade and 1 mechanical), all 2k3 and each one still performs top notch. Again in my opinion the SX V 2.0 compares very favorably with the Orracle.

i love my vengeance. one thing i like about them is the knob at the end of the 3way that makes timing it a joy. i would definetely upgrade the barrel first...then a drop forward...then maybe a bolt but its not necessary. the stock one works. i have a black vengeance base with a 14" JJ an ans deluxe drop and i swapped the stock ram for an mpp ram. the stock pneumatics work just fine, i only swapped rams because i wanted to see if it would actually make a big difference in efficiency.

2003 I think is ok. Anything before that don't even get near it. I had one, and have to say out of every gun I've owned and even shot for that matter, it was by far the WORST. I haven't used System X's new stuff but I hear they've really improved. You may want to go with a 2004 just to be safe, the the 03 should be fine.

well anyways... now that its back up.. i got a quick question about ups for the vengence, is it fully cocker compatible, mostly compatible or would it need mods done to parts to fit.
like the bolt, front block pnuematics etc...

the only thing on the vengance thats not cocker compatable is the LPR. you would need to get a new front block if you wished to change out the LPR. otherwise its 100% cocker compatable
