WildFire is having a 3 man tournament March 2nd at their Madison field. I know a large number of teams have signed up, and there are going to be three divisions.
Amateur
Novice
Rookie
It is a 8 game minimum, 3 more if you make the semis, and 3 more if you make the finals. Admission is $180 and that includes all day air for three people, as well as once case of paint. A few corrections:
5 game minimum
$50 a case at the tournement for Fireball Nasty Tournement no-wipe fill (very good paint IMO, nice bright fill)

Team Malfunction, but we are bringing four teams so were probably going to go with 4 names.... Probably Hybrid 1 and 2 and Malfunction 1 and 2.... Hybrid 1 and Malfunction 1 are hoping to play each other, and I guarantee you it'll be an awesome game.... We are going in as rookie, you? It is our first tourney as well... So we figure rookie is the smartest choice...

ohh and im on malfunction 1... we might have our grey dye jerseys in time for the 3 man... and my 3 man team plans to go to all of the 3 mans in the series ( would u believe i dont really like 3 man... but i wanna play 'em all. funny aint it)

on the entry form is says $50 so.....
How experienced are ya'll? Years playing, how often? just curious...
Are the rookie teams playing separet? I heard that if there is enough they will. If so how many do they have to have?

They will have atleast 6 for sure.... I already know 6 teams going.... They said if 6 signup they play seperate so we will play seperate... But honestly I wanted to play the novice and am teams... on the website it does say $50.00/case and you may as well signup quickly with that price, as on the flyer it is $56.00/case, so I would suggest signing up fast on their website...

How much experience do most of the guys on your team(s) have, just curious? Guns(not that it matters, just out of curiousity)?
I know of one other team going, but I think their novice, team Hangover I believe, know one of the guys on their

Our teams range from 6 months to 6 years... But playing as a team just 2 months....
The lowest end gun we have on any of our teams is a MiniMag...
There are like 4 angels, 1 defiant, 2 cockers, 2 impulses, 2 shockers, 1 mag...
I don't know Hangover, but I can't wait to see them there....
We are WildFire's team so we play at WildFire... All Malfunction and Hybrid teams are Wildfire's team... If you wanna see us quicker we are reffing the Time War scenario game... See, ya there, and remember, I am The Indian.... Probably will be the only Indian you ever see play a tourney....

btw.. if you see me i might have my cocker... it has a silver eclipse frame on it and a funky cradle system on it.. but it shoots like a dream ( when i dont **** with it) but hopefully my maxflow will be back from smartparts in time to use my impulse
and the 2 other playing on my 3 man have .... a shocker and the other has a cocker but he might be borrowing a friends vision impulse or his friends brothers regular impulse ( like mine)
will: yea right, your imp will never work again. anyway, you can use my shocker if you want, since im too poor to cover entry.

sorry man i was mad last night and i needed to take it out on someone...i am on carnage....we are going to the dalton 3 man on march 10...and we might send one team to the wildfire tourney. And we plan on having one team at the noonday tourney.

well my 3 man will not have the dye jerseys in time for this 3 man ... but the next.... we are gonig to have the red starburst jerseys ( mine is torn to east bumble****):P hope fully my maxflow will come in this week so i can use it .. has a bunch of yellow parts on it :)
I just love when our amazing captain keeps us informed:dodgy: . What dye jerseys? When are we getting them? Why? I deserve answers!

i went to the 3man nasty same one last year... make sure that u watch out the ref's didnt know crap they dont know how to make a call either... so watch for their mistakes

lol...MSPA is know for poor *** calls, cheating, and basically bull****. So MSPA sucks...but still you might be lucky and get some good refs that know what they are doing.

wel i know one of the head refs is a great guy that makes the right calls on the field .... and he can keep others in check.. so dont worry man

March 23rd, is what they said, your team captain(or whatever phone number you put on the entry form) should have gotten a call from them, that's how we found out.

DUde, there is a 100% chance of precipitation from 6 am to 8 pm tomorrow.. Itll rain all dya long, and this sucks, since I wanted to play now...

I don't think so, but what are there prices, I'm not in favor of paying $90 a case, that's why I like Fat City is because they allow you to use your own for $5 extra, or theirs is like $60 for low grade, but what are their prices? Think ya'll could come to Fat City next Saturday(not tommorrow)? Are ya'll going ahead with the 3man on march 23rd or did ya'll just get a refund?

Yea we kind of have to go to all WF tourneys since we are part of them... So yes all 3 of our teams who were scheduled to go will go... Maybe even a 4th team now. I believe 8 rookie teams signed up and all are still going to the march 23. So you guys will definitely have some competition..

well i just found out that my 3 man and anime's just got bumped to novice by my manager becuase he doesnt want us rapnig the kids who are playing thier first torney with spyders and such... i think you guys might want to call and get bumped novice too... make it a challenge ya know:P

it wasnt because of the 10 man practice....... i was there when mr bridges asked if it should be postponed because it was gonig to be cold at madison and if it rained he was worried that a lot of kids would get sick.... i threw in my thought that we should indeed postpone it cause of that .... it was not cause of the 10 man at fatcity... so please dont act like you know it all cause you might not... mkay...
and by the way the only reason its the 23 is because the mspa 5 man is gonig to be the 16th.. and next sat the main team( that would be reffing the 3 man) is either going to be practicing or heading out to LA just FYI guys

I don't know. I mean we have only played together once, were good, but not that good, but I'll talk to the other guys and ask, but I think we'll probably stay where we are, this is our first tourney too. But then again, we aren't winning anything big(BTW what are the prizes?) and the competition would do us good. I don't know maybe play this one rookie, and the one in june novice, we've never played at the wildfire, so other people will have a better idea of the fields,so.... Didn't ya'll have 3-4 teams, what about the other 1-2 teams?]

The third team will stay Rookie, but I feel if we are pushed to rookie so should they be... Not sure on prizes, itll range from trophies, paint, to maybe even guns, who knows.

well most of the rookie teams are little kids with their spyders andi asked one if he had a revy and he didnt know what it is... and i dont think they are gongi to be carrying paint... if ya know what i mean.... my 3 man has only practiced together 1 time also.... and that was just messing around when it got quiet at work.... i dunno if anime's has... but i doubt it... botom line.. if you can comunicate well with your team, and shoot good and fast to keep em down/ know what your doing... i would move up.. but thats my opinion:cool:

Well we've played together for 2 games, 3v3, lost both of them, to a 3 guys who said they'd play us, and we didn't do to well. Can't communicate well, but can shoot. It's our first so it's not like we're going to be sandbaggers. I don't know I might talk to whoever I call(to reregister) at wildfire and see what they think, Me been playing 2 years, once a month more or less, same for brother, other guy 6 years on and off I have a shocktech AC that I just got, and the other two have RT's. It would be nice to do well for our first, and from what you've said about your teams years of playing and guns you could probably beat us, since you play at wildfire all the time, and I don't even know what the place looks like. I got an idea:idea: why don't ya'll come down to Fat City next Sat., play us and tell us what you think?:idea: Just an idea. My brother tends to want to stay with rookie, since it's our first. I don't know, I don't want to just be shooting little kids for competition either. I don't know....

I understand ya'll reasoning, I'm not the type that likes to shoot up newbs either. But Jr. Violators, who won the rookie division at Fat City's 3man, I know they could kick our butts, and they still played rookie(I'm not dissing them in any way). I am new to this, so I don't know what to expect skill level and field wise, I'm just not sure what we should do.

No wouldn't be private or anything, they usually if they have enough people they run the spyder toters, and newbs on the big field, and the more experience players(and newbs who so desire) play hyperball. But I'm sure we could get them to run a few 3on3's, stuff like that. Let me check on our other guy though and make sure he can make it.
BTW, just reregistered, the guy said we should do rookie....

Not to get back on what we're wearing, but I can say definatly that we will be wearing blue jt hotrod jerseys, got em' today, and it will be a shocktech autococker, rt with z grip, but the other guy will have a yellow splashed shocker turbo instead of an rt. Well I'll see ya' there, plannin' to get there around 7-7:30, I'll be looking for the "indian" and dye and smart parts jerseys.
