The AM guys will tell you about the new diadem and AM-Nick has played many games with it and done mutiple tests with it. Personally i have only played one game with it but what i saw i loved every minute of it. And i think they are worth more than what they cost. It is a competive tourney gun for 1/2 the price.
Just got mine (Thanks Andy) so I'll have to take some pictures of it for you later on. But until then at AM's site they do have pictures of it there.
I think the official Diadem terms should include items like "rip bolt" and "modular design". And above all gotta have the "Camel Gripframe."
It's great that it's thin, but at same time if it was a little thicker (gripframe) you could probably stack the noid over top of the board like they do in the Intimidator. Sure cramps stuff but definately cuts back on the bulge.
Here ya go. Me Diadem

I'm not a fan of those drops they came with. Or drops in general, really. I'm a big guy and I can wrap my arms around the tank itself and still be comfortable. So with my style I just have that Apoc2K bolt on system, I really like it. Built in on/off is convenient at times.
Adjustable vert feedneck is made for Halo's, got it from RogueFactor (over on AO) for $30 shipped. Fits on their nicely, holds that hopper on snug. A tight fit, won't come loose easily. Both good and bad.
Barrel of course the Lapco Snapshot, gotta get the 12" front tip next. I'm not a fan of the 14" tip, just so used to 12" length. Shoots darts.
Right now this is capped at... I think Andy told me 10. It's still basically a prototype. But once all things are finished over at AM land, it'll be sent back for the modifications. Like ACE and get a Palmer LPR on there (gotta have a micro-rock, don't trust many others besides Palmer baby). Not sure might go LCD but that's just one more thing to break. I don't worry about modes or debounce really. "Turn on and shoot" is how I prefer my electronics.
Though if anything what I would change is the solenoid placement. That hump is where the noid is, and I'd sooner like to see this frame be more like the Intimidator. Where the noid is over top of the chip. Might require a slightly 'thicker' grip frame, but it would beat the Camel Frame it is currently.

What is the general consensus on the Bubble Grip?
From those who have used the Diadem at the Diadem Crown Tour, would you say that 90 degree frames, .45 frames, or the Bubble Grip is the most comfortable?

crimp.... u shall learn that the blowback design can't even do 100 cycles per second. The design iirc is limited to somewhere around 56 cycles per second.

Are there any guns that have the ability to cycle at 100bps? Because they make boards that can it is all up to the gun after that

With a paintball being .68, there are about 17.5 paintballs in a foot. And at 100 bps you would have to move about a 6 foot line of paintballs touching end to end through the marker in 1 second. They also have to make a 90 degree turn from coming down the feed tube and exiting the barrel. It's pretty impressive the speeds they really can reach anyway.

The physical limit for balls at 300 fps is about 5,294 bps. That's not factoring in acceleration. So whichever company can put out 52 hundred balls per second first, can honestly say they win.

I think you guys missed the point. There were 5 guys shooting simultaneusly
5x20bps=100bps

we got the point... but we're just proving (well nbregin is at least) that's it's not physically possible.

I like the hump myself. After playing with a Diadem for a few weeks and going back to a standard 45 frame, I miss it.
