paintball ace is a cool company and all but it seems to me that they keep on trying to be the WAL MART of paintball. Whenever and where ever a store like CC or another company opens, PBAce opens really close trying to shut them out. Its to much expansion for me to feel comfortable with a company like that. That little CC shop only opened a little more than a month ago and PBAce is opening literally RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! I think thats rediculous and there should be more prosperity and expansion in the PB community instead of companies like this always trying to shut everyone else out.

But paintball isnt that big yet, we need to have variety and not hitleristic expansion. We cant just have one primary store or chain of store. Look at I&I Sports, they never open up near to anyone else even though they are a HUGE company. They have stores scattered across CA and they promote new stores and prosperity and diversity in our sport. But why would PB Ace have to open 2 store within like 5 miles of eachother. Its rediculous and obviously being done out of spite for CC. I just think that is unnecessary, unconventionally brutal, and unhealty "business" for the sport and our sports annual gross income as a whole. Not just as one store.

CC > pb ace

opening across the street will put both places out of business.

Your right business is business.....at least they make smart business moves...they wont have slave labor lil kids holding signs on the street in the hot sun.....so thats business for you right?...and jordan why is it everytime something happens and you dont agree with it you decide to bash it?...what a great way to display your anger towards a company

and they will be there longer then five years :D

your a fool.... ive been supporting check it longer than anyother store or company in paintball. Check my account at West Covina and see how long ive been there, probably longer than you have. So if you dont know your facts get them right before you talk...
I have no anger towards PBAce at all, and how is this bashing them? Am i calling names? Being immature? Illogical? No.... so there fore i am not bashing, im just really concerned about the harsh buisiness practices that have been implimented lately. So if you please, get off me, open your mind, and try to starin your little brain to understand others logic.

well being the "fool" i am...i know that check it is no longer a store..its a manufacturing company....and what about that timmy? was that on your account at west co.? oh no i forgot you stole it  then ditched it in the bush's....yea nice job your a class act...and we arent trying to close anyone down...we are moving our corona store because where it is now, we get no business cuz its hard to find and it was just a matter of luck that pops boardshop went outta business and their spot was open...it being by cc has no bearing on our choice to move there, the move was due to it being right by SC

To get all the facts straight, Paintball Ace is moving to Norco because it's a better, larger location. Pop's Skateboard shop has been vacant for a while now, so Paintball Ace decided to take the new location so that we can do more than be just a store. The location that they are at now in Corona has no visual advertisement, and is impossible to find unless you know what you are looking for.

Paintball Ace has no intention of putting anyone out of business, they just want to provide good customer service, and specialize in specialty items such as Check It Products, Eclipse, WDP, BL Intimidators, and to provide service to all. We are one of the larger chains in California, and really have nothing to fear being near other stores such as I&I Sports or CC Paintball. Everyone has their variations of product, and favorite techs at their stores, no one will be hurting anyone.

We sponsor team Digital Paintball, which will be helping us provide gaming in this location, so that Paintballers can try out the latest betas - online.

As for everything else, we want this to be a place where you can get the latests trix for your markers, new products and clothing, or just hang out and read magazines. We are working very hard with a lot of people in the industry to bring you one of the best stores in California. Our prices our competitive as it is, this why we are able to provide so much to choose from, and give you the best selection.

We are not Walmart, do not provide old paint at outrageous prices. We do not put everything in blister packs so you can look but not touch. Please get your facts straight Jordan.

Check it out when it opens, so you can be the judge...and yes, I do work for Paintballace.

oh and by the way.. when i refered to your practices as similar to Wal Mart.. i wasnt implying that you guys put things in huge bundle packs or that you guys sell low quality products. I was refering to the fact that you guys are a huge and dominant figure in paintball retail and there fore when you open closely to a smaller store, there is a good possiblity that they may not survive due to the fact that you guys have a huge range of products that you have accumulated over time as well as very low prices that are extremely hard to compete with. This is similar to Wal Mart who open in areas that compromise the survival of smaller store and specialy stores. Thats why many people who live in areas where Wal Marts are said to be opening are concered for smaller "mom and pops" stores who cannot compete effectively,a s i have heard some local residents of corona express similar concerns. Just to clear that up.

plus a lot of people exit onto Lincoln and then turn onto river and stop at jack-in-the-box for breakfast anyway (at least...i do)...it saves me a trip to 6th street, or whereever it is now, to buy paint

It's a dog eat dog world, when we started pbnation there were other paintball forums, were we being monopolistic for offering all of the same forums they were offering? Nope, it was just giving people another option.

Jordan please stop with the oppression crap it's pathetic.

Mike

PS. Don't claim HKArmy if you aren't in it (you aren't.)
