Hey Burnout I play at V.R. too. I think I know who you are. Do you play with colin? If you do you ought to remember me, I was running around the field without a gun calling out positions.

well cow, I mention that because I am looking for others who may have similar experience. Unless you are former military, there is a bond there that you may not grasp.
And yes, when playing a game that involves more than merely spraying a massive amount of paint down range, it does make a difference. I already know that I am a good player. I started playing nearly the time when a lot of the people on here were born, and have shot more than I have been shot. I mention the military not out of arrogance, but because I am looking for like minded people, or people of similar experience. Would it offend your sensibilities less if I did not mention this? Why does this offend you so?

You assume that it offends me. It really dosen't, in fact, I really dont care. I was just asking a question. I just find people who confuse military tactics or even contrast them together with paintball amusing. Do you play for a team? Or are you a rec regular?

Interesting. Do you approach all people that you do not know with such a sorry attitude? Complete with smartass things to say?
At the present time, I do not play for a team. I have, however, been on teams. Quite seriously in fact. I have been away from the game for a number of years. It seems that it has gone from a game in which a team could employ strategy, to a free for all to see who could waste as much paint as possible. In case you did not read what I wrote earlier, which apparently you did not, I started playing in 1986. And the most notable team that I have had the fortune to play against, was Navarone. I guess that my confused self will just merely be a rec regular, because such sages as yourself know all there is to know about the game. And while we are at it, why don't you tell me what is so amusing wise one? Including, honestly answering similar questions that you ask of me. How long have you played. I know that you are on a team, because your inoperable website seems to indicate as such.
I do not assume anything. But based on the manner in which you approached me, I sensed something other than a simple curiosity. A chip on your shoulder perhaps. And pointed at someone you do not know, and one that you may just cross paths with. How humorous would that be? So please expound some of your wisdom upon the sullen nobodies such as myself. Can you do that Chris? BTW, my name is Brian.
Please do tell me how people like me are humorous, in our notion that there is some kind tactical portion of the game. Tell me how it is more fun to unload tons of paint in a flurry. I obviously know nothing.

Again!, your assuming that I am trying to be a smartass. Im not out to get you marine! I was just asking a simple question. Your long replys show that you think something needs to be explained when it really dosent matter, because, as I said before, I really dont care. You also assume that I look down on you. I just find it funny how some people confuse military tactics with paintball tactics. Also, the tactics have not changed in paintball. The fields you play on have changed, and the markers you now shoot have changed. That is it. Basicly the tactics have remained the same throughout the years. The way it's played has changed. I've played for about 5 years now. It really wouldn't be humorous if we crossed paths, but if you want, you can come to our next team practice that we have soon and show me your tactics on Fat City's nice Sup Air field or the their badass Hyperball.
