Pev's Scrimmage for the Soup

Let's organize this scrim here. Hopefully we can have some good turnout. What do you say, 50 cents entrance per team to cover prizes? ;)

Also, should we split up divisions, or just all play eachother? Realistically I doubt there will be enough teams to run different divisions, but you never know.

Just so you know though. Last I heard about this practice J-Unit is throwing. They will be using 2 fields. I dont know exactly how many air bunkers pevs has totaly but you think there will be enough for you all in the end?

Yea, apparently alot of kids have to take the SAT on the 5th. That will really cut down on attendance. Also, the russians can't make it on the 5th. I think the 5th is just a bad day to do it. the 29th works for me, but apparently people will be on vacation. What do people think of Sunday the 6th?

Hey Guys,

Here's where we stand. Rab is 100% behind providing you guys with a practice day. As it stands now the 5th & 6th of June are booked up by a closed 10 man practice.

So I suggest we shoot for Saturday May 29th or Sunday May 30th. Keep talking on here and see which day is best. Saturday will work the best for the field but Sunday works best for most players. You guy s vote and we'll work it out.

This will be open to any of Pev's sponsored teams or anyone playing in the PTS. So you may get some playtime against some of the best teams in the country and a real chance to learn.

Also from what I picked up on one of the threads the other night there seems to be a little rivalry between Keith's Driving School and the "old" FX Factory Players. So you might be able to settle that too.

Rab is going to try to work in a little bit of a camp teaching session too. Other pro might role in to help too!

Like all other team practices there will be a $10.00 All Day Air Fee to attend.

We should be able to set up at least 2 3 man fields and rotate a good schedule if I get the correct info in time.

Also like all the other team practices be prepared to ref the games that you are not playing in.

This will be an organized thing.

Someone needs to get a team list together and take control of this.

It will be an Open 3 man practice but it will not be a free for all. Each teams captain will be responsible to report to the Pev's proshop, pay the air fee for his players and get the wrist bands.

Let's not start going buck wild. This is also only for practice. If you decide to go play walk on then you will need to pay the regular field fee.

So far I am counting abot 10 - 15 teams up for it.

OK Here is the complete info as it stands now.

1 of the 10 man fields will be split in half creating two 3-Man fields. The practice will start at 10 am and will last until 2pm.

Rab will make sure the fields are set up but he will be out of town for the actual practice day, so I will be there to make sure things run smoothly (and get some game time in too).

If we have 12 or more teams the air truck will be up top, if less you will need to get air at the proshop down at the field house.

We will need to limit this to 16 teams tops so confirm here early. We want to make sure everyone involved gets a quality practice and a fair amount of games in.

Remember there will be a $10.00 per head air fee for the day, not $30.00 per team $10.00 per head so if your alternate is coming and is going to play they need to pay also.

I will be at the proshop at 9:30am to sign teams in and issue wrist bands.

Each teams assistance in breaking the fields down at the end of the practice session would be appreciated.

I hope this is acceptable to everyone.

Teams please post if your are going to attend. Someone needs to be the point of contact and get me a firm list and I will make a practice schedule on Saturday getting everyone as many games as possible in the alloted time frame.

Please be there will enough time to sign in and be READY TO PLAY at 10am.

I got a phone call last night from a shadowey figure some of you know and he "made me a offer I couldn't refuse".

Seems there will be a team playing on Sunday Known as "Mittens", "Gramps", and "The Camel Jockey". This comes straight from the Capo D' Tutti Capo of the DC Mob.


Should be great fun.

I will put together a "schedule" on Saturday and try to get every team at least 10 games so be prepared to shoot some paint.

"Registration" will be a the proshop at 9:30am. $10.00 per head air fee will be paid there.

The air truck will be up top for us for the day.
