Venom will not be attending this tourny. We will be concentrating only on our 5 and 7 man practice and tournies for a long time. I'm sure it will be another great event, but we won't be able to do a 3 man event. Hopefully some of will show up to watch.:tup: Up for a great event, sorry we can't make it out there.

Damian, are you going to be at PB Planet any time in the next couple of weeks? If you are, I would be thrilled if you would bring a mainspring for "The One" up there. I was having all kinds of gremlins, (Turned out to be the LPR. A trip to Pep Boys for some valve cores fixed that no prob.) and in the process of trying to fix them, I trimmed a couple of links off my ram return spring. Everything works fine now, but I'd rather have an unmodified spring in there.

Its after the event, we will play for a Tes Marker (and Trophy) or something even better. All the teams that don't make the top 8 will receive 1 free entry to the 1 on 1. Everyone else like walk ups and players on the top 8 teams will pay an entry of $25 we play elimination depending on the # of players competing we'll do a best of 5 or if we have alot of players we'll play a best of 3! Most players have extra paint at the end of an event so this 1 on 1 works out great, it did last time and will again!

Oh, I almost forgot. Tim, will you have time this weekend to anodize your Imp? Don't forget the beer. Beer is arguably the most important chemical in the entire process. If you bring the rest of the parts, (internals, etc.) I have plenty of air in our scuba tanks, so we can get it reassembled and tuned as soon as the parts are done.

I looked at the tool section in Home Depot a couple of days ago, and they have a very small EZ-out that might fit that grub screw. If not, we still have plenty of options for solving that problem.

It differs. We have been there almost every weekend since our first visit. Sunday seems to work best with all our schedules. We really want to practice against a three man team on Sundays for a couple of hours. It's hard to learn anything from playing rec players with rentals, other than that their lack of method and complete unpredictability on the field can be both hilarious, and cost you a game.
I really want to practice against superior teams, and compete against inferior ones. Since we are just getting started, it shouldn't be hard to find an experienced team, and yet it's hit or miss who will show up, and on what day.
If you're interested in the duckbill, send me an email (just click the mail icon below my post) and I can bring it by any time Sat. or Sun. afternoon. I live close to the Planet, so it's no problem. :)

When try finds anything aresol like axe or bug spray, he sprays the crotch of his pants and lights himself on fire, then punches himself in the nuts to extiguish it. hes a very disturbed little boy.

and the mc donalds thing-- my team slept at planet the night before so my team and joe went to mc donalds. joe was messing around with this guy greg who ordered like 15 nuggets. greg went to the bathroom and joe took a bite out of every single nugget before he got back. it was a very interesting night.

Here are a couple of maps. These are the most direct routes when approaching the city from the East, according to my mapping software. There is a wide view for the ride in, and a closer one for when you get close.

Basically, you stay on I-10 untill you reach the S Carrolton exit. Go S on S Carrolton to Claiborne. Take a right on Claiborne and follow it untill you reach Jefferson Parish (A short ride). Just after you cross the parish line, start looking left and you will see PB Planet. Feel free to follow any directions you choose, the maps will work for any of them.

There were some great games and alot of good sportsmanship especially on the part of Team Backdraft. There were a few bad calls but all in all considering the lack of experience the refs did a good job. I would like to thank all the teams that played this event, and let us (Odyssey Factory or Push) know when you guys host a tournament and we'll do our best to send a squad! 16 teams competed in all and $1,200 cash was given to the top team and over $5,000 was given away in all. The 1 on 1 competition was won by Rusty (2 X-Treme) he took home a T.E.S. an EKK new design shirt and a huge trophy, Rusty also won the 1 on 1 at my first N.O.I.O. The sportsmanship award went to the much deserving Team Backdraft, they received 3 Odyssey 5 pc. barrel kits! Thanks again to all the players,refs,spectators, and staff that made this event possible
