Does anyone know the bore size of the stock Icon-E barrel? And does anyone know what paint works best. I tried some Blaze and I didn't break any but when I checked it the paint was pretty small for the barrel.

ummm.....i don't know...but i'm looking into getting an Icon-E, how do you like yours. What i did with my defiant was just got like some Brass eagle paint, some jt, and some PMI, and i shot it all and see what worked best....that's i think how you should do it. Some paints work better in guns. Surprisingly, my gun shot the brass eagle afterburn really really well. PPL bash it, but i didn't chop. I got the same results as PMI premium. Y pay 57bucks a case when u can get Brass Eagle for like 1000 for 19.99. NO BRAINER!!!!

Ya i know i should test and the Draxxus Blaze works great I was just wondering if there was anything better. As for the Icon itself I love it. I don't have any upgrades so its completely stock. The first time I used it i chopped really badly but I think it was just the paint because the second time with the Blaze I didnt chop any and and was shooting sort of fast. I am thinking about getting a Bizerk 12" for a speedball barrel and using the stock for woodsball so I wanted to know the size so I can match the Bizerk to it so I don't need to test paint all over again. I highly recommend it.

I use Big ball and that worked alot better then Draxxus for my stock and 14" barrel (dont know the macker of it). I never choped with mine untill i tryed with full auto. you should get a micromiter to check the bore size, then you can get a ball sizer they are fairly inexpensive i think ive seen them for about $2. You should have one any ways, but i would definatly recomend you get a barrel kit. Do u plan on playing turny ball or do u already???

Big ball is made by PMI, it's their "cheaper" paint, i really like PMI premium. That's what I use with my defiant most of the time. The other day i used the Brass Eagle cuz it was my friends stuff...was quite happy with the results. It's a very hard shelled paint though, so if you're playin at a low FPS field, not a good paint, will bounce a lot.

I have the stock barrel still and it works fine. I havent found any balls that don't work well with it. im gonna buy an new barrel soon but the only upgrade i really NEEDED was a spring upgrade. Now my fps is throught the roof!
