I just bought a Mongoose, and i know that they are fairly new guns, so i was wondering what after market parts were the best for it. (Barrels, triggers, bolt, hopper, ect.)

They r gereat stock. IU think they take timmy bolts, has a 32* quiet riot barrel stock. TaKE SPYDER BARRELS AND TRIGGERS, I RECCOMEND THE SWEETSPOT, AND FOR HOPPER 12 REVVI ORIF U GOT THE MONEY EGGO. THEYB R GREAT GUNS, OH AND MABEY A CLAMPING FEEDNECK AND A CP OR TORPEDO REG.

I've always wondered, what are the feed neck threads on the mongoose?

the feedneck doesnt have threads that im aware of. there is two screws that you undo and then the feedneck comes off. and the type of bolt it takes is a spyder bolt (http://www.paintballgear.net/011-180-0003.html ). the mongoose will take most spyder parts and has spyder barrel threads. the stock barrel isnt bad and i do recommend a electronic hopper and regulator. the stock reg is a piece of crap.

It's threaded, the neck unscrews form the part that you screw to the body. It might be pretty hard but it will come off. You also can't tell that it unscrews when it is screwed in.
