View Full Version : Hybrid stock barrel: yay or nay?
Tomorrow I am ordering my Hybrid off Powerlyte's site and I was wondering what you guys think of the stock barrel. I will eventually get a Scepter but the money train isn't moving too fast right now. Questions:
-What other barrel on the market would you compare it to?
-How quiet?
-How accurate?
-Bore size?
-Recommended paint?
Thanks,
Dan

Hybrid barrel is YAY WOO HOO WHOPEEE!!!! Its good, the new version and the old version. The new version is a 2 peice speedline, and the old one is a one peice speedline. I personally love these barrels on the hybrid.
Compares to ultralight meabe?
Quiet- VERY, you hear almost no "pop" Just the ka***** of the mechanicals.
VERY acurate- i shot an orracle with kaner then hybrid with stock barrel and i could tell no differance at all. Cept the hybrids trigger is snappyer.
Bore size- Im guessing .689 what most paint is now adays.
I would recomend using evil or blaze or hellfire.
Woo Hoo!!, my Hybrid got here today and I am very impressed with the overall quality and craftsmanship of the marker. My only gripe about it is the manual that comes with it. C'mon Powerlyte you can do better than that. All I gotta do is pick up some SS hose tomorrow and I will be ready to try out the Speedline. Unfortunately, all I have for test paint is 3-month-old JT paint that is taking up too much room in my closet. Oh well, maybe they have improved since the last time I used them:rolleyes:

The hybrid is nice and low pressure so i dont think you should have any trouble. The bolt pressure is only around 50 psi.
