I was thinking about buying myself a PT Extreme or a Delta .68. Here in Canada the PT retails at 180$CDN while the Delta is 160$CDN. What's the difference in the two? Is the extreme 20$ better than the Delta? I'm thinking I'd mainly be buying these things for fun, they're probably not that useful "in combat". Am I accurate here? What do you guys think?
1) Are the pistols useful or should they be used just for fun?
2) Is the PT Extreme better than the Delta .68?
3) Am I getting ripped off at those prices?
Thanks guys.

The PT extreme sells for $90 USD and the Delta for $120 USD...from what I understand the delta is a vast improvement over the PT Extreme.

I have a PT Etreme and whenever I play Recball I carry it with me. I mainly carry it for a backup weapon and I have used it at least 4 times to save my bacon. My main weapon failed for whatever reason so I just set it on the ground and hauled out my Extreme and stayed in the game. Managed to get two surrenders with it and two kills.
As far as the Delta 68 is concerned I have no experience with that pistol so I really can't comment on it.
I got my PT Extreme off of Ebay and made some mods to it so it would shoot 280FPS with a 12 gram cartridge. I paid $100 American and got a bottom line, a 4oz tank, and a couple of other goodies in the deal. It was used and only worked well for a couple of 12 grams but once I cleaned it up and changed the springs it was a whole new animal.
Good Luck

I just got my delta and I can honeslty say I love it. It was well worth the money. I dont even have a leaking problem. I did change the spring in it though.

that's cool, but i'm gonna stick to just my spyder... and a crappy gun for a backup. i don't feel like spending the cash for the handgun. I tend to play mostly bushball, but i think i might get into speed. thanks!
