ATL 8:50A -12:54P LAX 3/3
LAX 3:46P -12:19A ATL 3/7

JetBlue doesn't service the ATL area to their California (Long Beach/LAX) destinations, unfortunately.
I recommend booking flights with at least 1 lay-over to get the better fare, but that's common sense.

Sometimes the layovers aren't worth it...Like for me with Southwest...the difference between Non stop and one layover was 10 bucks. Not worth it to me, but it's fine if you want to go ultra cheap. Always check out both ways.

Wow I thought flying from hawaii was expensive. We all got our tickets at $299 roundtrip from honolulu to lax. Damn I didn't know that you mainlanders paid almost as much as we do. Any of you guys come up to Hawaiian Homegrown at HB and introduce yourselves as we always looking to meet people.

I completely agree, but you also have to remember that Southwest, Jetblue and several other "economy" airlines don't typically discount for layovers.
However larger airlines like AA, Continental, Delta, do offer significant savings. This is due mostly to the fact of the volume in air traffic these airlines have over economy lines.
For example, non-stop from BWI to SAN via American was $450 RT. However with a layover at DFW, I flew once for a hair under $300. That's a savings of over $150 and a killer workout running 49 gates in 7 minutes!

jet blue is great...just make sure your barrel, reg, and tank are seperated and your tank has no air in it.
