Full Throttle is only like an hour from where you live, and it's 34273472364726358724752478x better.

OK bushy, you need to either get a car or get a map. Better yet, get both and come out to East Coast.
Or are you guys one of those "no man, we should just play 5 man forever around florida" teams.
If you're 10 minutes from the hell that is OP. Then I live right by you, and rest assured you are 1 hour from East Coast Paintball.

Why dont you come out to EC this weekend/ Sat OR Sunday.
And try out for my division 3 team. We have a couple of great little sponsorships in the bag. And we have between 3 to 6 spots open.
Just ask for dave. the player not the owner.

I might just do that. I would actually like to try out for your team, could you give me some more info on it, and what gun do you have?

Roc...any preference on what kind of gun the player shoots? I shoot a tricked out Spyder TL+...
Also, do you think you still might have some openings on your team later this month? I usually play every two weeks due to money issues...and I played today.

Alright Roc I'll call you tomorrow and ask where the place is, peace

Sorry, we do have a preference. Unless you way outclass your gun, but then we would tell you to get one that matches your ability. Once you reach that balance, look us up.
Also though, we have a xball junior league starting this month. So anybody with a squad of 5 guys can come and compete on your very own Xball field with other teams on the local/rookie level. I think its an awsome opportunity for 5 man squads wanting to learn the xball format yet play against others in their own division. It doesnt even cost that much to join. Something like 25. a year or something and all the teams involved compete in your own tournements for prizes held at East Coast.
There are already 4 teams signed up and paid for it, Hes looking for about 4 more to sign up.
GUYS if you want to learn XBall for the future, this is your chance!
Call the owner for details on the new junior league, hell be happy to go over it w/ anyone. His name is dave- 386-566-0355.

Hey, I dont hate spyders at all. There are many great players out there using spyders.
We have many spyder using players @ EC sometimes.
Why dont you come out and play w/us, then you can judge for yourself what you need/want to do.
Im sorry if it seemed i pre-judged you by your gun. but if you stay going to OP. then all the ballers in orlando have the right to judge you.
Those guys @ OP are ruining paintballers, because when they get out onto a real paintball field, they play "op style" which is not good. You will be slayed.
Bushy will be trained to reach his full potential at EC, unlike OP who trained him to pay 75. dollars for a case of seconds paint.
OP doesnt care about the future of this sport, thats why you will never see air bunkers set up there. EC is ALL about the future that is why we willingly train players on two real Xball fields sitting on thousands of dollars worth of fresh grass.
One day, bushy will re-visit OP with a new squad and own all.
One last thing about OP. EC doesnt allow cheating by our friends on the fields.
I played there once, and the ref was letting this idiot Blair cheat left and right. Get the picture boys, this kind of stuff ruins paintball!!!!!!!!!. Of course, that was my last time going.

I vowed never to play at OP ever again about 2 months ago. But it's in my name because I can't exactly change it.
I play at Full Throttle mainly now, maybe I'll make the trip over there one weekend and check it out.
TheRoc

Now see. I got alot of respect for Full Throttle.
Even though they probably dont like us because of natural field competition. At least they put out real ballers.
Florida is the place that cranks out the best ballers in the world.
And our fields/players are to be taken seriously.
Let the choad fields overcharge the choads.
The real baller fields always charge less. And usually have much better facilities.
15. admission and BYOP are the standard prices.
The good fields still make money off paint sales, and equipment sales, and tournements, and leagues etc. etc. etc.
You see with those prices and policies, along with great prices on field paint anyway. EC sells a bunch of paint anyhow, only difference is we dont force people into paying high prices for paint.

Full Throttle is $10 admission/all day air, $70/case for field paint only.
The field paint is pretty good though, they offer you the choice between PMI Premium (not great) and Field Blaze (very good from my experiences).
Refs are good, fields are good (XBall, Hyperball, L-Shaped Speedball, and some combinations of all).
If they did BYOP, they would be amazing.
TheRoc

Still, great prices. Plus you get to watch and sometimes play with professionals. Plus, they have airball.

Hey Roc,
Sorry I couldn't come Sunday my team were being little bitches, some OP based team challenged us to a came, I told them to f**k themselves, then they said they will supply all the paint. So we played them and they are pretty good, we played 10 games and we both one five each. Now afterwards was the problem. I toild that they should play at EC pb because its an awesome field. Then some kid with a lasoya said all the guys who go there are "f**king gay" and the owner is"assh*le" Now I was about to hit him in the face but my team took off. We will start playing at EC now because I will never ever go back to OP, there are bunch of d*cks who ruin the sport of paintball, oh and dave im coming to EC this saturday, ill talk to you later

I like this guy "opwxpabcdefg"
Anyhow, of course people are going to talk sh*t about us. I can spend all day on these forums talking about what EVERY other field does not have. And in case they havent noticed, arent there diks at every paintball field?.
SEE, BUT WE HAVE A FEW DIKS AND TEAM STRANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT THE HELL DO THEY HAVE???? JUST DIKS!!!!!!!!!!
Thats like bitchng because they have cold water.
The absolute best thing for any paintballer to do is to see for yourself, because you never know, the person giving you the review might be one of those diks themselves.
And see, because bushy did what he had to do to come out, now HE knows that the owner is a nice and great guy.
Now, when bushy comes out saturday, I will personally train him.
Hows that for diks??????????????

Roc, could you give me some more info on East Coast?? Their website is a little out of date. Like, if we came just to play some recball, would we only be playing woodsball or would we be able to play some xball? Also, they are open for like general play on Sunday's right?
If all goes well, we will be there on Sunday...
TheRoc
01-14-2004, 06:20 PM
The owner Dave will be more than happy to give you all the info you need, he's a really nice guy too. Try calling him during the daytime. 386-566-0355.
You can come out on saturdays and probably have free reign of
All the fields, which will be the two Xball fields plus a woods field.
On sundays, you can most likley play the Xball fields, but there are much more serious teams out there.
If you have a 5 man squad, you have much better chances of getting onto the fields on sunday, or you can pick up single players to jump on with you.

Ouch, why's everyone hating on OP?
OP aint bad at all, only downside I can really think of is the field paint only policy.
opwpxc
03-21-2004, 03:53 PM
And bad refs, torn up fields, poor maintenance, and overpriced products and paint.
Torn up fields? Do you want them to clean the paint off the bunkers or something? I don't know about the refs, when I worked there a few years ago they were pretty good although I will admit the paint and product prices are highly inflated.
